(9)Story: Story is about Suzuha's point of view of what is she going through, and her friends of the lab members. A girl named Kayano a mean woman who wears the mask follows Suzuha around her journey, and you will see what she will do to her. The author put the same plot you seen from steins;gate but, with what Suzuha is doing and solving. The plot is very fantastic. There is some intersting stuff you will like. (10)Art: Very detailed artwork. (9)Characters: It has a great character development even Suzuha. You will see more on her flashbacks about her story. Characters from the anime are there too. With the same personalities. (9)Enjoyment:The manga will make you interested because, of what they throw on you will make you surprise. (9)Overall: If you see the seen the show, Definitely read it now. If not then go see the anime version first. This one will spoiler you and will confuse you. Great manga.
This is an original story expanded from the STEINS;GATE game, and focusing on the heroine Amane Suzuha. In 2036, a monopoly on time machines has created world peace, but at the cost of human liberty. Suzuha has followed in her late father's footsteps in fighting alongside the Valkyrie rebellion force to change the world. After the group fails on a major mission, Suzuha has almost no hope left. But then she discovers that her father left something for her: a time machine. Using this, maybe Suzuha will have the power to finally destroy this dystopian society and create a better present and future! (Source: MangaHelpers)
I am a big fan of Steins;Gate and when I found out that their a manga mainly focus on Suzuha I was excited, it answered a few questions but they add a few things that didn't needed to be added. Story 6/10: In the show it involves with time travel, and with that the characters do change simple because time has changed. With this it focus on the first time we meet Suzuha and her journey. I really liked that. We also understand more of which she is coming from while the show is taking place it really adds depth to her.The reason that the story scored low was because they added a antagonist that I personally thought was useless. The antagonist only added plot holes to the series that made no sense. Art 9/10: It is a manga series, it's always good, not over the top but still good. Character 8/10: We get to see more of the characters that we love from the show. The main reason that I read this was just to see Suzuha's mother, it didn't disappoint. They match the personalities of the anime series perfectly and I was happy to see them all. Except for the antagonist, no real point in having expecting the first 2 chapters. After that it was just stupid. Would of given a 10/10 if it wasn't for that. Enjoyment 7/10: The only reason I read was to get more depth of the characters from the anime, didn't disappoint (aside from my complaint). And the moments that you know are coming it still manages to make it really good. Overall 7/10: It is good, but I would only recommend this after you have seen the anime, otherwise it won't make that much sense and it will spoil a few things for you.
