Paranoia Street is a very special manga, because Kago Shintaro is a very special author. In most of his manga, the subject matter is bizarre and surprising, but in Paranoia Street, the manga itself is also bizarre. Each chapter of the manga focuses on a different town, and plays with the format of the art in a unique way. The first chapter is a good indicator of whether or not you'll like the whole series, so if you read the first chapter, and if you don't like it, drop it. Give this manga and it's artist the love and attention they deserve.
An inept detective and his sidekick are forced to leave a city overfilled with detectives in search of work. This series covers their journey through each uniquely bizarre town as they vaguely attempt investigations into strange phenomenon.
