Well, since there's no review for this Manga, I'll be the first to review it. I'm actually surprised no one's reviewed it yet. This is my first Manga review so bear with me a little. Gravity Eyes is a very good Manga. I really enjoyed this manga. The story is very good. You can just read the synopsis of it if you want to know the summary, but I'll let you know why I like the story. So, apparently this is a sequel to another series, but I didn't know that going into this. Honestly, you don't even need to read the the prequels toread this one. If you want you, you can, but you don't have to. i got just as much enjoyment just reading it on it's own because it can stand on it's own. o basically the story revolves around this character Kyouya and he seems like just this bubbly upbeat character, but there's much more depth to him. I don't want to give much away, but he's used to unrequited love and the story really conveys how he deals with it, in a very realistic way. He meets Kiriya, someone who at first seems like this stone cold guy, but proves by nicer than he seems. He has a past as well an that get in the way of his relationships. Again, i on't want to give too much away so I won't spoil anything. Due to circumstances, they two begin to get closer in a very realistic way. They learn more about each other and understand each other on a more emotional level. They also learn that they have things in common with one another which strengthens their romantic development. I just liked how the relationship was built up. If you're looking for smut from this, you're not going to get it. The sex scenes aren't too graphic so it's a light Yaoi and if you're like me, I more enjoyed it for the romantic development rather than the sex parts. They're fine, but I enjoyed the build up. the pacing wasn't too fast nor to slow to get you bored. Basically, If you're a fujoshi or fudanshi interested in a good shonen-ai/Yaoi, this is good. the character development is good, the romantic development it good. I reccommend this to anyone just entering the world of Yaoi or shonen-ai or anyone that just loves a good romance story. The writing really conveys, the facial reactions convey, the emotions convey. There is drama, comedy, romance, and some sex scenes. Very good balance. Very good and quick read. If you're on the fence, don't be, it's a good read.
This series is a spin-off of Tsumasaki ni Kiss following the character of Kyouya. from Dangerous Pleasure Kyouya has left hosting to go to university and work at a regular job. That is when he meets an assistant professor, Kiriya, whose "cold eyes" have drawn him in. Kyouya's problems begin with his restaurant boss who he has an emotional attachment to that he doesn't know how to deal with. He turns to Kiriya, who in turn has his own past to get over. Will Kyouya and Kiriya be able to overcome their pasts and find a future together? Volume 1 contains the Extra: The Flower's Name Volume 2 contains the Extra: Love Life
