Surprisingly deep. I love, love, love, love the art style. It's not in-your-face flashy, but it's... something you come to appreciate. It feels classic, which makes sense since this Manhwa was written in 2018. As for the characters they feel real, flawed, putting on masks, trying to find their place or make a life for themselves. The setting is certainly unique and the characters actions & reactions to the setting they're placed in is realistic. Let's be for real, the moral high ground is beyond reach here. The MC is poor, but to his credit he has admirable character strength despite all he'sbeen through. There's also the fact that he's mixed race which is nice to see. Representations of non-stereotypical backgrounds is something that I'll always welcome in Manhwas. The plot definitely feels...raw and yet unprocessed. I don't know how to explain it, but if you read it you'll understand. It gets 3 marks for it's art style, 3 marks for it's characters portrayal and 2 marks for it's representation of diversity and an industry not many people talk about. 8/10. Bonus point, people actually express their emotions and problems as adults here, which is simply... AMAZING!.
Ed's job as a security guard hasn't made a dent in the enormous debt he has to pay off. But when he overhears someone talking about how easy it is to make money performing in gay porn, a way out of his penny-pinching day-to-day becomes clear. But what starts out as a way to make a quick buck turns into much more after Ed meets Glenn Mcqueen, the CEO of the production company he will be acting for. (Source: Tapas Media)
