In a world full of magical creatures and talking animals, high above the skies live sentient creatures known as the "cloud kids." One such cloud kid—a white puppy with blue eyes, floppy ears, and a curly tail—struggles to learn how to fly and fit in with the rest of his kind. When a sweet smell coming from something sparkly and fluffy on Earth catches his attention, he descends to find out what the source of the scent could possibly be—leading him to Café Cinnamon. There he meets several other puppies: the friendly and stylish Mocha, the lax and bug-loving Cappuccino, the energetic tomboy Chiffon, the artistic and spoiled Espresso, and the cute baby Milk! He also meets a human girl who runs the cafe, and, upon noticing his tail, she names him Cinnamoroll. Despite his strange appearance and abilities, Cinnamoroll soon finds his place at the cafe among the other puppies. Thanks to his new friends, Cinnamoroll enjoys a life now filled with fun and adorable adventures—even while steering clear of the troublesome cloud kid Cavity. [Written by MAL Rewrite]

I recently completed all five volumes of Fluffy, Fluffy Cinnamoroll. I was looking for something that allowed me to explore a nook of the Sanrio universe in depth, and this series totally did that for me! First of all, I absolutely LOVE Cinnamoroll, the flying sky puppy of Sanrio. As one of Hello Kitty's friends, he's usually a side character, but this manga focuses on the adventures of him and his best friends, all of whom are cute puppies. Unlike Cinnamoroll, these puppies can't fly, but they sure are cute. As a shoujo manga, it's full of kawaii goodness and plenty of moments that make mego, "Aaaawwww!" This series mostly focuses on isolated stories that involve Cinnamoroll and his friends. I like that because the characters are my favorite aspect of this manga. I also love Cinnamoroll's adorable, non-flying puppy friends, especially Mocha. The emphasis on Mocha is part of why I loved the Cinnamoangels, a girl-power triad devoted to fashion, fun, and cute boys that appears later in the series. I also enjoyed the villains, too, such as the puppies from Black Cafe and the little black bears that appear in one of the volumes. 10/10 would recommend this series to fellow Sanrio fans who want to get to know Cinnamoroll and his friends at Cafe Cinnamon better!
