Footsteps in the Snow

If you're in the mood for a short story, this is the perfect pick. One chapter is enough to hook you. A beautiful and sad apocalyptic story, with people doing their best to live in a world that's dying. The author didn't shy away from exploring the darker aspects of humans surviving under extreme conditions, and the morally grey cast of characters is overall well written. The art style is pleasant, and it was a really atmospheric and immersive read. Well paced too. Didn't expect much from a story I randomly picked up, but I was more than pleasantly surprised.
