Some people say that you shouldn't pick up this manhwa but I totally disagree with that. Pick it up! Just please be aware of the fact that the artist had passed in the middle of creating this manhwa. In other words, it's incomplete and are left hanging at a very uncomfortable situation in the manhwa with so many unanswered questions. This of course can be a turn off for some people. Yet if you were willing to take a chance on this manhwa, the only disappointment you might feel is the fact that there is not more to read, lol. Just a quick glance throughthe pages and you can immediately tell that there is a lot of work and effort put into this manhwa. Even as she was sitting in her hospital bed and was receiving cancer treatments, Kim Jae Eun worked rigorously into her book and you can tell through the pages. Not only is it aesthetically pleasing but the characters are quite quirky with their own unique traits. I believe that this manhwa had a lot of potential and the author was planning great things for it, but it just was never given the chance. It's definitely not you're typical entertainment industry type of manhwa. The approach is actually meant to be a reflection of the actual Korean pop entertainment industry, which is booming in the international market as well. For those who like kpop you might find the few chapters interesting. I completely recommend these short 25 chapters for readers to look at, it had an amazing start and should be well appreciated!
Hwee Kang is in a band with all his friends and is recruited by a well known company called JBL because they all have the looks of stars. However, there are high expectations. During the audition, what surprise will they give everyone, and what will Hwee Kang do? (Source: Eclipse Scans)
This is going to be my first review and I hope it will help some people, when it didn't for me. DO NOT READ THIS MANHWA! Why? Well it's worth a 10, especially if like me, you like stories set in the entertainment industry. The characters are interesting, the art is really pretty, you really grow curious about why those people became the way they are, and how their relationship will develop. And then it ends. Sadly, the author died after years of fighting against cancer, and this masterpiece will forever stay unfinished. I recommend it only if a VERY open ending won't frustrate you like itdid for me. RIP to Kim Jae-Eun, the world lost an awesome mangaka.
Rating this was kind of hard for me because at the beginning, when I first started to read the manga over a year ago, it was amazing. I felt so intrigued and I couldn't wait for the new chapters to come out. But the manhwa artist died because of cancer so the manhwa never really finished, which is understandable. It kind of cut off, nothing was explained, the beginning of the specific manhwa was great! As it trudged on through the chapters though, I felt it wasn't as how it first lived up to be. Even more so with the story cut off. I haven't read anyother of her works, maybe they were great? I don't know that for myself, but if you don't want to be left hanging with no complete ending or what's going on, I suggest not reading it. The artwork is great though. So instead of a 5/10 I gave it a 6/10. Not much you can do about it though.
