I read this because I knew it would be a quick read and it had been on my "plan to read" list forever and I wanted it off. The read itself took about twenty minutes and was fairly enjoyable. I was suprised to enjoy it as much as I did. The characters are tolerable for the most part and easy enough to like even with little character development. I wasnt too fond of the way Red treats Pink, but it was still an enjoyable read. I was hoping for a little more romance and less of a "bullying love" than what I got. If yourlooking for a quick read that will give you a giggle or two, you should give this one a shot.
So obviously this is a short manga, therefore the story line is definitely not great, but it works. Each chapter kinda seems separate from each other but again it's short. Other than that this manga is hilarious. I know, it's not a comedy, but it's just so absurd that it's funny. I mean the characters are all bishies who cosplay as hero rangers (like Power Rangers) and thwart evil plans, no matter how serious they try to be I just can't take them seriously. Maybe I have a weird sense of humor, but the events in this manga are just so outrageous that itmakes you laugh when the characters suddenly become serious. Besides, how could you not find Red absolutely adorable with his .. "girl problem"? Overall, I enjoyed the artwork (although I think the girl was a little rough around the edges , but still well done), as I've said, I really enjoyed the characters, therefore (putting a meaningful plot to the side) I very much enjoyed the manga. I would have given it a better overall grade if the plot wasn't so ... cliché and disconnected. But seriously, this manga is really enjoyable, even if you don't care for the plot, it's a fun read. As I've heard many say, this manga is so lame that it isn't.
Momoko is a fan of Hero shows, like the Power Rangers. The boy she liked in Junior High says mean things about her obsession and breaks her heart. In High School, Momoko tries to reinvent herself, and throws away all her Hero souvenirs. But at school, she is asked to join a Hero Club with 3 tall, handsome members who dress up as Hero characters and patrol the school. They want her to be their Pink Ranger. Even though the other girls are jealous, Momoko is too scarred by her past to embrace her love of Hero stories, and she doesn't get along at all with the Red Ranger
