This is beautiful. I thought that it was gonna be a monster of the week story where they help/defeat ghosts, it was not. I thought it was going to be a super angsty love story, it was somewhat angsty just not in the way I expected. I was a bit unsure who the last spirit was but one of the comments explained it. I think this story has ruined real life romance for me because I'll know that I'll never be able to have what they have. I think the story is beautiful and I'm filled with jealousy that I can't have the same for myself. Iwish that there were unlimited chapters of this manga. I wish they'd turn it into an anime, but considering todays political climate I know for a fact that it won't happen. I hope for only the best in the world for the story's mangaka, Tako Macho. May they live a long and prosperous life where they get to experience all the beauty the world has to offer. May their pillow always be the correct temperature. May they find all the success in their life that they deserve. I'm personally not a believer but from now on I'll pray to every God I can for more beautiful stories from this writer.
I feel like I forgot about someone important... Plagued by nightmares of his old hometown, Yuuma Kurose, a lonely boy with the ability to see ghosts, feels inexplicably drawn back to the place from his dreams. There, he stumbles upon Kaito Kiriyama, a boy shrouded by terrifying spirits. With a serious look in his eyes, Kaito vows he'll protect Yuuma. But the moment their skin makes contact, the spirits surrounding Kaito started to possess Yuuma! (Source: Shu-Cream, translated)
honestly really great . i'll admit , in the beginning i thought that it was kind of aimless and confusing . but MAN was the payoff worth it to me , i cried so much and found everything so great and really touching . i almost gave this an eight , if there was an 8.5 i'd probably give it that score , since i only got *really* into it at about the halfway point . but i decided to round up instead of down because i really did enjoy this , im very satisfied after reading it . and its only 9 chaptersso its not like you're having to slog through volumes like with a lot of longer manga !! oh , but its not as if the beginning is BAD , i'd like to make that clear . its just not as good as the latter half , in my opinion ; i was just a little unsure like ' okayyy where is this going ' , and it definitely ended up being good i can't really say too much without spoiling it , so i think i might have to leave this review at that . the art is good , the characters were relatable ( the side characters were good too , i really liked yuriko ) , and the story is compelling !! overall i totally reccomend this :o)
Very short read, so not a huge amount of chances to develop the characters or the plot. It's definitely an enjoyable read, but the potential extends beyond 10 chapters. The art style is quite lovely, the horror themes with the spirits should've definitely been expanded upon. Worth a read if you're into BL, and the plot points do go beyond most generic BL plots. There's themes around reincarnation, spirits and some self-exit themes, so there does have to be a bit of caution if going into it with triggers around that. Overall, I think exploring the previous life as a plot rather than the highschool life would've made a much more interesting story, even if it had just been 10 chapters.
