This remained a really enjoyable manga for me even after reading it a few more times. So story: The idea isn't very original or deep, but it's good enough to make a shounen-ai manga become adorable. As you read, it gives a nice "warm and fuzzy" feeling, mainly because of the simple feelings that ought to be transmited within it. To the end, the story changes from almost all points of view, which can make the manga seem to be split into pieces and that can be a minus, because in just one chapter is a little harder to grow accustomed to the new atmosphere. Art: From thispoint of view, the art really echilibrates the manga (the characters aren't very feminine and make a slight contrast with the love story). Ogura Muku's style fit with most of the scenes along the manga, with small slips here and there. Also, the 'chibi's', that appear quite often, but at the right time, help in adding humour and keeping the story on the right line, not letting it become too serious or boring. Characters: As I said at the story, they aren't either very deep and complex, but their emotions are showed in a really good and easy-to-understand way. Most of them having the 'innocent' attitude, they carry a light-hearted feeling around them. Enjoyment & Overall: I think that the level of enjoyment in this manga is really high, because of the short stories that don't bore you and keep a smile on your face even after you finish reading. Even if it's simple, you'll remember for sure some of the cute scenes contained within it.
Love is found in the strangest places and with the most unexpected partners. The men (and cats!) of SENTIMENTAL GARDEN LOVER burst into heart-throbbing bloom! A scruffy stray cat wishes for big hands to hold an abused man, and a cute kitten begs for speech to comfort a broken-hearted stranger. Wander further into the garden, and youβll find close siblings upset by a love rival; a jaded delinquent flustered by a trusting bookworm; an evasive, glasses-hating man; and a president eager to find a weakness in his perfect secretary. For both cat and human, the quest for love is here! (Source: DMG)
