Synopsis

Lotus Girls' Academy. A school whose aim is to educate young girls to be pure and modest. Youko is a new transfer student here, and immediately takes a liking to Shuu, who shows her around the school. However, Youko discovers a big secret about Shuu... she's a vampire! Youko then does her best to be the best friend she can be and help Shuu protect her secret... whether Shuu likes it or not! But how does Shuu really feel about Youko... and why does her blood taste so different? And to what lengths will Youko go to help Shuu? (Source: MU)

A funny and cute romance story about a girl and an androgynous vampire. I enjoyed this thoroughly, however the manga was ended prematurely just as things were starting to get more interesting. The side characters were uninteresting, but the main leads were good and their yuri-like romance was cute. The androgynous protagonist had some interesting connotations but we do not get to see how this plays out in the end. I would very much like to read the continuation of this story but considering 8+ years have already passed since publication i doubt that we will see that happen. Story - 7: Interesting concept that is executed fairly well butended too soon. Art - 6: Very sparkly and girly, but can be a but over the top at times making it hard to decipher what is happening in each scene quickly. Characters - 5: Apart from the protagonists most of the characters are uninteresting and very generic. Enjoyment - 8: The comedy was fun, the romance was cute and it kept me reading so i can definitely say this was worth the read. Overall - 7: Lacking in some areas but overall an enjoyable title.
