Synopsis

The young and lovely Princess Rien Digrit seems to be the unluckiest girl in her land. Her fifth husband in under a year fails to survive their wedding night, and all kinds of rumors place the blame on her. But her father promises things will turn out for the better should she marry Baron Madd Cranchesta, his close associate. Before long, Rien realizes she is but a pawn in her father and Madd's conspiracy for political gain; neither of them has ever truly cared for her.
