This manga started in the first few chapters as a promising psychological gore horror series, but things soon went south leaving us readers with a mess of unjustified violence with no writing and zero horror factor, simply awfully gore violence for the sake of it. I got to know this series from a YouTube video, now I deeply regret opening YouTube that day, I decided to give it a shot cause we don't have many horror series nowaday but it was a mistake, beware of this manga. Basically the story is about this condo in which the landlord looks like a teenager and keeps the tenants basicallylocked up, forcing them to always smile in front of him, punishing them in the most deprevated ways when they make mistakes, taking advantage of the younger girls of the condo in front of their parents, yeah the author probably just felt like this series was his chance to show the world how much he hates living, or either how much he likes free violence I guess, such a despicable tale. Art is pretty decent, it conveyes whatever the hell the author wanted to share with us perfectly, but it's not enough to save this mess, all and all I cannot give it more than a 5 out 10, definetely not recommended. DO NOT READ THIS SERIES, PLEASE!
Through a friend, the Shirotani family are introduced to an apartment to move in to. Their joy is short-lived as they learn about a strange rule the apartment building has. The rule is, "Whenever you're in front of the owner you must always wear a smile." If they break this rule... Escape is impossible! The curtains rise on a apartment building survival horror.
