Synopsis

Venice, 17th century. Safinia lives a simple and happy life with her father, a renowned artisan and his apprentice Angelo. Everything changes when a man named Ricardo Carrá comes looking for her saying the rich Poliziano family wants her as the lady's companion who has "a weak constitution".
