When I picked up this manga I wasn't sure what to expect because its summary on Manga Plus was vague. It had its good points and bad points but overall it was an enjoyable story with characters I liked and wanted to root for, so I liked it from beginning to end. The story is a bit sleepy at times, which is both its strength and weakness. It feels very grounded in reality and I like it,b ut sometimes I wanted more for it than it was willing to give. This was true for the ending, but it didn't surprise me that the ending bothgave me things that I wanted and felt like we needed just a little more. I think that this story would lend itself well to an anime someday. If you're looking for an easy that's very slice of life romance, then I think you'll enjoy this manga. If you want a manga that's more dramatic or fast-paced, then you might get bored.
As a member of the art club, Shintaro Ibuki is stuck with the arduous task of making a piece of school equipment by hand. While crafting, he notices the intimidating Kyoko Sugisaki glaring at him. Unsatisfied with his clumsy efforts, Kyoko eventually steps in and quickly finishes his work for him. Wishing to return the favor, Shintaro helps with the sketch Kyoko was working on. Fascinated by each other's different areas of expertiseâShintaro by Kyoko's special talent for handcrafting drums and Kyoko by Shintaro's impressive art skillsâthey begin working together on various projects. But their shared passion for creating beautiful things may be just the first step for romantic feelings to appear in full bloom. [Written by MAL Rewrite]
Do you know that feeling when everything is going well (almost too well), and then suddenly everything comes crashing down on your head - while also wrecking your spine (Iâll say right away that the recovery doesnât go well either)? If not, youâll get to know it by reading Hanninmae no Koibito. Pros: - the first 14 chapters - no unnecessary drama - an interesting take on the work of a craftsman Cons: - the main character is a total wimp- underdeveloped supporting characters - a clear lack of any real concept for the manga in the later chapters - CRĂME DE LA CRĂME: PACING. Oh my God, using timeskips like this should be punishable Is it worth reading? I personally think not, but I have mixed feelings, because maybe some people enjoy that sensation I mentioned at the beginning. And the ending fits perfectly. Itâs mid, just like the whole manga. Let this be the best summary: the best part of the story was the jealousy arc (SICK!).
