OMG! I am soooo excited! I am going to write a review about this manga! I love all the manga this author writes so if you love this manga, be sure to read all others! Story: So basically, this is about monsters, humans that can turn into panthers and two heart-pounding love story! One between the mum and the dad and another between the daughter and some other guy. Of course, there is a villain which came and ruin their lives cause why not? This story is one that will capture you, and devour you. I gave the characters 10 marks and that is solelybecause of the villain. This story shows you how twisted a person can be ( and that person is obviously the villain) . So if you decided to read this manga after reading this review, thanks alot! Have fun reading!
Rinko is an ordinary girl who was born with a mysterious birthmark on her left arm. But when that mark starts to get darker, strange accidents begin to happen everywhere around her, involving even the people she cares about. What will the powerful magic awakening inside Rinko bring her? (Source: Aerandria Scans)
One thing is for sure about this manga- it's VERY dramatic. Story- The story actually has a very interesting concept to it. I liked where it was going and there weren't too many things that didn't make sense. But I must tell you, there are COUNTLESS attempted rape scenes that make you sit there and go wtf. Of course they don't actually show much of anything. It's not graphic at all but still makes you sit there and shake your head like "What is wrong with these people? Why is every other male character a potential rapist?" Might not be suitable if you're sensitive to thatstuff. Aside from that there are enough twists in the story to keep you interested. Art- It's a fairly old manga so I won't be too harsh with the art. It's very sailor moon-esc looking but sometimes the characters don't look like they're truly expressing things like worry, anger, surprise, etc. There are also some parts where they are VERY derpy. Characters- The characters were actually pretty likable. The heroines weren't completely useless for a shoujo manga. They actually fought well and even get angry to the point where they ACTUALLY want to kill someone. But there are still some weird things about them. Like, why do all the male love interests just kiss them out of nowhere??? The heroine could be going through a crisis and all of a sudden it's "Kissing Time". some of their reactions to things that happen make absolutely no sense, but most of the time they do well. Enjoyment- So much happens in this manga at a time that it's just hard to not enjoy it. I read it all in the span of two days, mostly because I started reading it late. So if you like to binge read you might be able to finish this within a day.
Look, it's a great read, but probably not in the way that the author was going for. It's got all the signature melodrama of a shoujo romance/drama (love triangles, vindictive villains, bad boys, good boys, etc.) except... none of the characters can shut up about turning into panthers. It really undercuts the tension in a scene when someone says something like, and I quote, "If I were to be killed, don't turn into a panther!" The art and plot are passible with some good moments but overall they're uninspired. If I had to wish the author genuine kudos it would be for their page compositions, which are for the most part dynamic and well assembled. The characters are cardboard cutouts and you can guess everyone's deal shortly after they're each introduced. But by God would I recommend you read this series. Half of my photo album is screenshots from this series.
