I originally started reading this to pass the time but when I started I couldn't stop. Theo is just so adorable and I love how Charlotte and the Duke take on the role of parents but also teach him about his actual mother without just saying Charlotte is his new new mom. The Duke and charlotte's relationship is so cute especially when the Duke starts to be himself with her. Charlotte does have a tendency to not think about herself in dangerous situations while the Duke just worries trying to stop her from getting hurt or dying. I do see why she does it thoughif I was in that situation I can't say I wouldn't do it as well. The ending is really cute as well but it does seem like a cliffhanger though in my personal opinion it just shows how a story continues even when the book ends. Though again that's my personal opinion. :) also I came across it while looking for something to read on Tapas while I was waiting on another series and ended up finding it somewhere else and binging it...IT WAS WORTH IT...
I woke up in the body of Charlotte Rania, an extra that was not even mentioned in the novel I had read. Because of that, I had thought that the cut-throat social world and politics were the worst I would have to deal with, but then I accidentally met a small child in the forest and saved him. Turns out the little boy is Theo, the younger brother of the male lead who died at the age of three! "I'm going to live with you!" When the little kid made a fuss that he wouldn't go home, the male lead Carlyle Heinst, who was originally supposed to be in a contract marriage turned true love with the female lead, offers Charlotte this exact contract marriage... Can I kiss my peaceful life as an extra goodbye now?! (Source: It Book, translated)
