This is one of the works that honestly shouldn't be bing read but is definitely worth reading. The story is unique and all the cast are interesting, the comedy is great most of the times. Rosa is one of the greatest FLs I've come across in webtoons, she's shy, has great abilities, and is the queen of comedy and timely encounters. Doryan -or so I call him, the ML- isn't that interesting of a character at the start, but with his character growth he will grow on you. The series is 127 chapters, I had to take breaks about 4 or 5 times because there are some chapters werethings felt like being stretched and got a tiny bit boring.
This series is really slept on! It may not be upto everyone's liking but it has got most of the aspects right upto a certain degree. This series started as light hearted comedy romance, and I must say it did not stray away from that. It not your once in a generation masterpieces but something you'd wanna read daily or weekly for amusement. It had an entourage of lovable characters with thier own quirks and personality. The concept of Superpower Police and Villain was something interesting at the time of it's initial release. Although a villain having a crush on a hero isn't new, thisseries did justice to that and provided with quite an interesting storyline. This story was not that inspiring or great but it had it's good moments and the plot didn't seemed rushed or half baked. The main character Rosa Parks was very dynamic (Bubbly is what comes to my mind when I describe her) she truly carried the series. It was interesting to see a good Female MC in quite some time. The side characters were interesting and dynamics between them felt refreshing, although it would've been better if side characters would've gotten more screentime but it focused more on plot progression. It performed on Comedy part much better than the romance part, unlike proper romance manga/manwha this one was not mature enough on that front. But I would say that it nailed in comedy part. The story was interesting up until few last chapters and we all get a good old happy ending. I would suggest this to someone who likes casual reading, this is not something you'd wanna binge in single seating but read slowly like a childhood cartoon waiting for new episodes to release. Although the best time would've been when it was releasing, now it's completed. I am grateful I stumbled on this when it was few chapters in publishing, and seeing it finally completed is what satisfied me. I hope to see future works of Author get better and better onwards.
Since the advent of special abilities in humans, no one could rival the popularity of police officer Han Do-Ryeong. He is good-looking, kind, and one of the few people born with multiple strong talents. His skills make him exceptionally well-equipped to apprehend superpowered criminals and have led to a significant decrease in crime in South Korea. That is why an unknown individual causes a major commotion by dominating a fight against the police and even managing to harm the untouchable Do-Ryeong. The Bureau of Special Abilities swiftly dubs the gas mask-wearing villain "Blackdog" and determines that the terrorist is targeting Do-Ryeong specifically. Forced to take a leave of absence for his own safety, Do-Ryeong worries about the uncertain future. If Blackdog could overpower him so easily, then there is nobody else the public can turn to for protection. By chance, Do-Ryeong meets a young woman named Park Rosa. Unbeknownst to him, she is the solution to his problemβin more ways than one. [Written by MAL Rewrite]
I like how the plot is somewhat between cliche and unique β where we've seen tons of works which covered the trope of "villain x hero", but it's uncommon to see something like this, where the villainess (Rosa) is actually a misunderstood fan of the hero (Doryeong). I must say that this manhwa definitely leaned more into its comedy aspects rather than romance, which made me laugh a few times throughout reading. Rosa is one of the FLs which is likeable. She has flaws; oblivious, clumsy, and shy. Yet she is bubbly, caring, and forgiving for most of the part. Doryeong is kinda mid at firstsince he's the typical ML you'll find in manhwas; handsome, protective, and popular. But through the story we'll dive into his character, and I like how his character grew. The side characters is also diverse and comedic af. What I think is my turn-off is the parts where it felt like the story is too fast yet the filler episodes are too many. Maybe the pacing is just not for me, but sometimes it just felt like plot holes being fixed by another filler chapter, or the comedic aspect drifted me to... just forget about said plot holes altogether. To conclude, I find this manhwa enjoyable for the most part. This is very enjoyable if you don't marathon this in one sitting. Just read this on your free time.
