The story is a good horror read that can be done in one sitting. The author maintains a good pace for the whole duration of manhwa. Though, there is nothing you havenβt seen: β’ the plot takes place in a shithole, β’ buildings with a bloody and scary past β’ a person that became crazy from something horrible in the past, β’ a creepy and suspicious character that is likely an antagonist, β’ incidents involving shady church, β’ monsters, β’ flashbacks that connect everything. Still, despite the standard set of tropes, you cannot but enjoy how the story unfolds. You are given hints and moments from the past that lead to thereveal behind the horror. The creepiness is there too. The art plays a big part in setting the atmosphere: it is black and white with only a few things that have colour (like blood). There are vibes from Shadow over Innsmouth (short story) and The Descent (movie, 2005). Give the manhwa a try if you need a light horror read. ANT may not surprise you, but will provide enjoyment anyway.
They live under our feet... Sihwan Kim decides to stay at Dabin Park's house for a while. Little does he know that unidentified ants dwell below... Through an experiment, a monster-like ant creature is born and begins to kidnap people. Will Sihwan and Dabin, who are now caught up in the incident, be able to escape after twists and turns?
