Ok there is no positive review or anything that explain more about this manga so I'm writing one. Warning though, if you are not a yandere fan and looking for a sweet male lead this manga isn't for you. Personally I gave this manga 8/10 but for this review I'm giving it 7/10 for more accurate objective scoring rather than personal bias, but the objectivity is still within the context of target audience because please note that this manga is most likely written with specific target audience in mind, which is yandere lovers. Generally speaking this manga isn't for everyone, the story isn't amazing, theart especially is still a bit lacking, however if you love yandere romance then this is great, basically here are the things you'll get from this manga: 1. Yandere male lead 2. Non blood related incest 3. Female lead who loves the male lead 4. Happy ending I would say that this is a manga that can make most yandere fans happy in general, despite the horror premise the romance is cute, though I won't elaborate why to avoid spoiler. As for the art style, it's the kind of art where characters look good looking and great in panels where their face is closed up but the other body parts, for example hands still look a little like a sketch, for reading experience this isn't an issue at all because most manga in general are also like this.
Makoto Kurobe has always found his stepsister, Mai, quite boring. Rather, nothing in life really interests him—save for the glee that comes from taking the lives of animals. However, over the years, he has longed to up the ante and try out a new type of victim. Therefore, it comes as no surprise when he kills Mai and uses her body to kick off a class-wide death game. Standing amidst the school's halls, dyed red under the moonlight, the mastermind behind it all is Makoto—that is how the story of a manga from Mai's previous life went. When a reader of this story is reincarnated as Mai, she resolves to rescue her brother from his own plan. Aware of Makoto's psychopathic tendencies, Mai does whatever she can to spark in him an interest in life, but a person's nature is not so easily changed. As Mai carries out her plan, Makoto's twisted mind—which has always been obsessed with death—turns its attention to a new target. [Written by MAL Rewrite]
This manga is kino. genuine peak fiction. I would rate it a 10/10, however, one simple thing sort of undercuts it. It's hard to tell when flashbacks are occurring, and the chronology in general is a little hard to follow. The introspection of the characters, seeing the same event from different characters' perspectives, without being boring, the symbolism, etc is all 10/10. The art is 8/10 in that it represents the vibe of the manga very well, but I have to deduct points in that the heights of the characters is inconsistent or confusing at times, and objectively the art is not very technically impressive. It's blocky and the anatomy is lacking. Overall, it's kino
