For those who like stories where drama and a certain mystery involve a hot and passionate couple, this is a good choice. :) The work begins with a dramatic charge: the anniversary of the death of Sougo Tsushima's parents; and a sense of guilt that leads him to weep profusely in public. And more secrets emerge when Okino Hiromu's purse, which he has just met, shows so much money that he refuses to explain. But soon we see the pains that make up the past of the two characters, and the story goes enchanting by showing them helping each other to overcome them. Both are sweet andlovable, but Hiromu deserves a "Seme cuteness" highlight, so careful and thoughtful that would win anyones heart over. XD
After the third anniversary of his parents' death, Sogo Tsushima was crying on the train on his way home. There, a handsome young guy, Yobu Kouno, appeared and offered him a handkerchief with a friendly smile. After spending the night together, he confessed to Sogo that he had fallen in love at first sight with the way he cried. Sogo is surprised and feel very perplexed by his confession, but then he happened to discover that a large sum of money was hidden in Kouno's bag and...? (Source: Takeshobo, translated)
It's a sweet and uncomplicated story with a few emotional peaks along the way, but nothing that makes it dark in the twisted sense. There are some points in which you're led to think that it might veer into clichés in regards to the money, but it ends up being played surprisingly "unproblematic". It's not easy to do themes of grief and acceptance in yaoi, but Soutome does a good job of it here. Despite the rougher beginning, the story gets better as Sougo and Hiromu get to know and trust each other; the way they provide each other with emotional support was -chef's kiss-, andwe love men who aren't afraid to cry and talk about their feelings. I also liked that the side characters also get development and interact meaningfully with the leads, instead of being relegated to the background. It's not the most realistic plot ever, but I found this manga enjoyable solely from the interactions between the characters, and the art (Soutome's art has always been great, especially in sex scenes).
