Got recommended this one and holy shit it did not disappoint! What you think is going to be a standard "guy in dungeon with weak power becoming op" turns into so much more with an actually likeable and frighteningly intelligent protagonist who uses skills intelligently to win or bypass challenges in unorthodox ways It eventually becomes a story of people coming together to face adversity and change the reality they live in At 266 chapters it's quite long but such a good read, I could not put it down Absolutely recommend this one, it uses the tropes of dungeon manwha really well and eventually subverts them with anexplanation that feels both completely unexpected but perfectly within the story at the same time. 9/10, you should definitely read it!
Dawoon's ordinary life is turned upside down when he is summoned into the Dungeon, where he must play a deadly game, outlasting dangerous monsters and life-threatening traps. To make matters worse, he's only a mere crafter with zero combat abilities. But after Dawoon falls into a trap and survives after a glitched reset, he's gained random but oddly helpful skills. He'll need to get creative to clear the game and return home, with a bloodthirsty assistant and an adorable ground squirrel along for the ride. Now that the rules no longer apply to him, what possibilities await in the tunnels below? (Source: Tappytoon)
This is going to be a short review. To put it simply, it's good. The best part is how well the author balances the "training" moments, the "pure slice of life/filler" parts, and the moments that focus on advancing the story. - Reading through it, you might feel a bit bored during the training parts where the protagonist is just getting stronger without any story-related events. But the author always follows up with a story arc, and obviously adds in some character development moments along the way. - The art is good and consistent. Some manhwa only have good drawings in the "important" moments, but that's not thecase with Dungeon Reset. The only downside is that there isn't a "peculiar" art style that makes you say, "Ah, that's Dungeon Reset." But that's really not a bad thing (at least not for me). - One big point is the characters. There aren't many memorable secondary characters—only three or four, which isn't a lot for a story with over 262 chapters. Even the main character isn't super unique, but they're not terrible either. In the end, I can say this is one of the best manhwa out there, so it's absolutely worth your time. Now that the story is finished, the ending is solid. Some parts feel slightly rushed, but it seems intentional: the author clearly leaves the door open for a future work set in the same world, or even a direct continuation. Because of that, a few moments in the final chapters feel streamlined, as if the author is keeping space for another project connected to this universe. Nonetheless, as a conclusion, it works well.
