I don't know much about medicine, but I can say that this manhwa presents a very good story for what it is and I say this because of the following things. -- The story is very interesting and easy to get along with. Although I am not a medical student or any medical professional, I can see how much effort the author put into the story and how much use he made of his knowledge of medicine, making it very interesting and easy for the reader to follow. -- The main character shows real growth. As the story progresses, we are truly shown the growth of the persoanje, notonly at the level of achievement or personal development. But overcoming real moments of difficulty that a person can face in real life. -- very entertaining and fun to read. The story as I said before is very bearable, I say this because even when dealing with serious issues these are not heavy and full of information for the reader, but just enough is said to understand the situation. -- It has argumentative twists and leaves lessons for the reader. Although one internally wants to see everything turn out well, if we are presented with the solution right away it only makes the rest of the plot dull. That is why I liked the way in which the solutions are presented little by little and in a very satisfactory way. And this is only achieved thanks to the author's guidance and to make us empathize with his character. Because in the end, if there are no problems and everything is not easily solved, then the plot becomes empty. That's why I like that the author makes argumentative twists and does not allow everything to go as you want from the beginning, but makes you want even more the return / rise and improvement of the protagonist. Undoubtedly a 100% recommended reading.
Kim Jihyun, who lived his life as a disreputable surgeon, gains a second chance to relive his life. He then goes back to his middle school days, and live his life to the fullest unlike before, he studies nonstop. His goal is to become a dermatologist who make lots of money instead of the poor surgeon he was from previous life! (Source: Kakao Entertainment Corp., translaetd)
I will keep this short, as I don't particularly like long reviews (I'd rather just read and see if it's good instead) 9/10: You know that feeling you get when a great read is finally over, and you get that profound sense of catharsis? To be frank, this is potentially one of the best completed manhwas out there. The plot revolves around a doctor who got a second chance at life, while keeping his memories from his previous life in-tact, and using his past knowledge to become successful in this new life. It is a relatively easy read, and is a comedy from start till end. Beaware that there are some bad translations out there, but you will find good ones for every chapter. Sometimes the chapters go a bit fast, but the way the story is written makes it feel like the story and characters are moving forwards at a decent pace, unlike most manhwas. I would highly recommend this for those of you who are not reading anything right now, and are looking for something to pass time with. I am a bit sad that it was only 137 chapters :..( Great read.
It's okay for what it tries to be. Our protagonist is a very humble and likeable person who works hard every day to save lives, putting his patients' well-being above everything else, and he also uses his future knowledge to help people (sometimes). The problems arise when you think about the bigger picture, since the plot is very repetitive, especially after he graduates from university and starts working. The antagonists aren't fun and the stakes are low 99% of the time because the main character is a genius and pretty much a miracle worker. If the author finished the series in 70-80 chapters it would've mademore sense. Anyways, don't expect anything more than the synopsis and you'll have entertainment for a few hours. The story is so simple that you could probably understand most of it without reading anything and just looking at the pictures, though the art is mediocre at best. As for the interpersonal relationships, they're shallow, except for maybe the relationship between the protagonist and the female lead. About the realism in case that's what you're looking for, honestly reading an isekai where the main character gets reincarnated as a healer might be more realistic. Some people in this manhwa break the law in incredibly stupid ways, and the protagonist doesn't notice that he's being targeted for years, which is ridiculous. The fact that he didn't die from overworking himself, and the fact that he can perform miraculous surgeries after not sleeping at all for 3 days in a row often is insane. As for the technicalities related to the medical jargon thrown around, I'm not a doctor so I have no clue, but I'm sure that diagnosis doesn't take 2-3 speech bubbles to happen, so that's that. Overall it's not bad, but also not good, it's just fine.
9/10 The protagonist has a new opportunity to improve his life after the number of failures in his past life and he will even follow the path of medicine again, a subject that I love. Story: 9/10 Very good progress with multiple situations that test the medical capabilities of the protagonist. Art: 9/10 Art is just and necessary for this type of subject, there is not much to tell the truth.Characters: 9/10 The characters that the protagonist meets throughout the story are very good, including the antagonists who fulfill the function of wanting them to have what they deserve. In general, if you like the subject of medicine, you will love the manhwa.
