I was having fun reading this manhwa especially it´s a bit mature, until they mentioned an asian islamic country, for what?? of course for terrorism. it´s funny how all the bad guys in the manhwa were mentioned only by `bad guys´ but not terrorist guys or terrorist groups from this or that country, even if they kill a lot of people. But somehow a groupe of side characters are presented from the first time as terrorist, why? because they are pakistani my friend. steriotypes like that are just a sign of ignorance or even Islamophobia Korean authors need to rise the level a bit cause this wayof thinking is just spreading hate shame on the author
After he's killed by the righteous leader of his own guild, Woojin gets a chance to start over. This time he's not interested in saving the world from monsters—he's got his sights set on revenge! His high-level kills quickly garner him notoriety among the game plebs, while boosting his stats as he masterminds his way closer to the top. But there's something no one can figure out: whose side he's playing for. Now that he knows how to play to win, Woojin will stop at nothing to destroy the hero! (Source: Tapas Media)
A revenge fantasy with glimmers of an intriguing narrative, but lack of focus undercuts its potential. Story: 4/10 The betrayed player sent back in time premise shows promise and offers some interesting lore reveals. However, abrupt time skips and pacing issues cause the narrative to feel disjointed at times. The ending cuts off abruptly with no resolution. Art: 7/10 The polished, clean art style serves the story adequately. Action flows smoothly when present. Character designs are somewhat generic but serviceable. Characters: 3/10 The protagonist is an average power fantasy vessel, but his ruthless pursuit of revenge has its appeal. Supporting characters are one-note. Antagonists' motivations remain unclear.Enjoyment: 5/10 Despite issues with narrative flow and weak characterization, I still found the revenge-driven plot moderately entertaining. The story showed sparks of potential. In summary, Kill the Hero is a deeply flawed but sporadically entertaining revenge fantasy. Buried under messy plotting are glimmers of an intriguing narrative. It may appeal to power fantasy fans willing to overlook its issues.
Kill the Hero is the story of Kim-Woojin, who gets betrayed and killed by his guild master Sejun Lee, the supposed Hero. Woojin then regresses and has a new goal to kill his former friend/boss Sejun Lee. The story at first sounds kinda of interesting. I am a huge sucker for the OP Main Character/Revenge Plotline. Usually, these kinds of stories are meant to appeal to the monkey side of your brain and just be pure entertainment; unfortunately, Kill the Hero does not do that. The setting and characters are boring. The manhwa doesn't do anything interesting and the whole story is extremely forgettable. With this style of Manhwa, I expected there to be lots of fun/visually impressive action with beautiful panels and amazing choreography kind of like the stuff in Solo Leveling or Doom Breaker. There unfortunately was none of that. Story 3/10 The story is honestly really bad. It starts off really boring and then towards the latter half of the Manhwa, the story feels like it is rushing to reach the end. The ending was horrible. Art 5/10 The art in the Manhwa is not bad just average. There is nothing super impressive or amazing that just makes your eyes pop out. Although I do have to give props to the fact that this Manhwa is colored. Characters: 3/10 The characters aren't really anything crazy. The Antagonist of this story Sejun-Lee was severely underused. We barely see him do anything during the Manhwa. The Main Character is a self-insert character kind of like Kirito. He doesn't really have much going on he's a completely blank slate. The Supporting Characters are super forgettable. They all had one quirk and that was it. Enjoyment: 2/10 I did not enjoy reading this Manhwa at all. I was bored throughout the entire time reading this. And there were many times that I just wanted to drop this and move on. I wasn't invested at all in anything that was going on and I remember just wanting the Manhwa to end. Overall Kill the Hero was a huge chore for me to get through. I would suggest you guys not to read. I don't think there is anybody who could possibly enjoy this one. There is way better Manhwa out there to consume and this one is nothing but a waste of time.
