The Emerging Story of Mismarca

This manga right here is a little gem. Well equiped with plot twist, character development and great characters. A must-read... *sigh* -canceled- *cries* Okay... the story doesn't end in a cliffhanger, but the ending is rushed and the story isn't even half finished. Keep that in mind. Now to the review : Story 8 The plotline isn't really a new concept, but still, it's frikn awesome. Storys revolving genuises have always been the most interesting ones (in my opinion), since you always want to know what plan and tricks the mc is going to use next. There is no such thing as mc-luck or powerups that are coming out of nowhere. Just pure tactical thinking. I will not go any deeper into the storyline, because anything i would say could spoiler the story. In terms of tags, ecchi and romance may have caught your eye. Is the romance legit ? Well, it surely isn't the main theme of the story, but it isn't a rushed/forced one either. It would have worked without the romance, but it would have only been half as cute. Are there panty shots in the middle of battles ? Ecchi has never really bothered me. It doesn't really change the story, does it ?(But sometimes it just looks ridiculous) No, there aren't any panty shots in batlle ( as far as i remember). It is more like a humoristic add up (???). Like adding suger to cotton candy (????????????). Art 8 I have never really known how to talk about the artstyle of a manga. Every artist is unique and has their own style (and i couldn't have done it better). I normally just rant about how messy it looks or how clean it was drawn. Yeah, it looks great. It's easy to follow the story. It's detailed and not to messy. Characters 10 I love the mc. Shota-like genius with a smile that can brighten your day. He is perverted and yet caring and friendly. You can see how he slowly turns into a great king. The support characters are really funny and don't get to anoying. But the villains..... *mouth drools* they look gorgous Enjoyment 8 I was hooked up from the beginning and read the whole thing in a few hours. Wasn't really a big deal since it is really short. And that's the fun killer. Overall 8 A good story if you wan't to read something short but exciting. Perfect for long flight for example (dunno how fast y'all read) EDIT: Even though it is a light novel adaptation, it doesn't change the fact that the manga was canceled. There won't be any sequel in the near future. So the only way to continue is to read the ln.
