Teacher & Student is the sister manga to “Older sister & Younger brother” and apart from some character & storyline crossovers; this Hentai, Slice of Life, Romance is in a league of its own when compared to that or other h-manga of a similar nature. Yet again I’m compelled to review another work of Fuuga but there’s a reason why I think so highly of this particular work by Fuuga. First of all, Fuuga has a tendency to tell multiple stories within each manga but this is one of the few, with a single story that’s thoroughly developed all the way through. It’s about Nishimoto, ahigh school boy like any other that seems to live alone for reasons I’ve already forgotten (seriously don’t their parents ever give a damn about their kids). Anyways his teacher Mai is broke and needs a place to stay and who else to turn to than one of her own students. Now I know what some of you are thinking, “why one of her own students and not a friend?” or “I could see this coming a mile away.” However don’t forget this is only a hentai, so do not come into this expecting an original set-up. It's really what these stories do with their set-up that makes it interesting. In this case it has to be the main characters and how their forbidden relationship progresses, through the odd circumstances they find themselves in. Throughout these 8 chapters I could tell a lot of thought was put into developing this peculiar relationship, showing how the bond between them grew from a one-sided dependency to mutual faith in one another. The teacher & student in question were rather fleshed out themselves. Nishimoto’s somewhat dull but is a respectable guy, unlike the bumbling fools that plague the genre and Mai’s just an entertaining, foxy kitten. Also there are a few noteworthy characters, like the main 2 from that crossover, that crop up in the odd chapter or 2, to provide an interesting change of pace. Overall Teacher & Student is my best h-manga that deals with such a relationship, because sex is never the main focus and yet I was never bored of it. Here however we have a subtle take on the concept, which focuses purely on the budding romance that obviously would come with its fair share of problems. Anyone who follows Fuuga’s work would know that he loves dealing with such dilemmas and that the man has improved over the years in most aspects. His artwork is one thing that’s improved, with a lot more detail put into the characters and their surroundings but his style remains the same. Even the crossovers have greatly improved because here you have to read the other manga in order to fully understand the situation between all the characters. So all in all you get a variety of goodness from this manga, including a good ending… …a rare find in this genre.
Even though she is a teacher, Mai Morisaki's character is quite...special: self-demanding, impulsive, and selfish. Will she be alright when she moves in with one of her students, Nishimoto Daisuke? They get along perfectly at first, but to be honest a man can stand only "so many times" seeing a woman in underwear and doing nothing... And even with that, Mai is the one who ends up making "the first move." Will this bold relationship remain hidden from the school students? Or the self righteous vice principal who happens be charmed by Mai? (Source: MU)
Despite that the fact that this is a hentai, It is suprisingly well-made, with its artwork and the storyline, it makes it one of the best among other H-manga. Story: 10, seriously, its 10. Yes, The reason i gave it a 10 because you just can't find any other H-manga that its storyline is great. Other than forcely rape then slowly fallen in love to each other, this one shows another way of getting them together, and it all starts with "releasing" semen monthly for maintaining good health, which makes me Lol xD, the rest you have to read it yourself! :D Art: 8 Artwork are kinda unique itself, its kinda realistic-ish, and its really good to see that its very neatly done, not with all those dirty squish, which makes it blurry or whatsoever you wanna called it. Character: 8 Well, actually the main characters are pretty well developed, Nishimoto was a clever students that needs not much hardworking on study to score good grades, while the Sensei was like a double personalities, When at school, she's a strict one, but when at home, she's like a kitty ( haha ). Enjoyment: 9 I do really enjoy it very much, despite from all the sex scenes, as the story progresses, it makes me LoL sometimes, and i really love the cute moments when Nishimoto and his Sensei were kinda like love quarrel xDDDD Overall: 9 Really, you should give it a try, It will surely not dissapointing, BUT BE WARNED! ITS A H-MANGA, WHICH IS ONLY FOR MATURED PEOPLE, NOT KIDS! x)
Wow. Just wow. Kyoushi to Seito to is a h-manga, but it is a h-manga that DOES IT RIGHT. The story is well developed, the characters are fleshed out and actually have personalities beyond 'This is hentai so lets just have sex for inexplicable reasons.' Let's start from the top. Story - 10 The story is absolutely fantastic. While it may seem a bit generic with its 'Teacher moves in with student, teacher and student start to like each other' premise, it does it so well that I honestly didn't care. They don't just jump straight into having sex, and the sex scenes are well done andrealistic that it doesn't feel so forced like so many other h-manga - they don't skip story for sex. Art - 8 The art is fantastic and has a lovely sense of realism whilst still feeling anime-esque and the characters are drawn wonderfully. There isn't really anything more to say other than the shading is also top notch, and gives it a somewhat nostalgic feeling. Characters - 9 The characters in this series were one of the best parts of this h-manga. Unlike a lot of other hentai, the characters actually develop throughout the series and that for me made the experience so much better. By the end I found myself actually cheering for them to have their forbidden love become a reality, because the way they grow as characters makes you care about them. This is something so many h-manga authors don't realize, that character development makes it so much better and a more enjoyable experience to read. Enjoyment - 10 As a whole, I loved this series. I didn't want to stop reading, and the only thing I didn't enjoy was the realization that it was over. The humor is very well done and the characters stay true to their personalities. There were some climactic moments where I almost found myself jumping out of my seat at the tension at some parts, and all in all it was a pleasure to read. Overall - 10 I give this a 10 overall because it was easily the best h-manga I've ever read, and I will read his other works and keep an eye out for future releases. If this story is anything to go by and you don't mind some sex scenes, this is an absolute MUST READ. It is a brilliantly told story of taboo love and how they overcome it is for you to find out.
I remember finding this H-manga a long time ago and remembered it being pretty good (and not just because it was porn). Giving My MyAnimeList account was new at the time I found it I figured I would give it a re-read and see if it was as good as I remember. So without further ado Story: 10 Despite being a H-Manga and only 7 chapter long, the story is really good. The story is filled with pretty good humor but can also be serious when it needs to be. Pacing is pretty good despite the short run and the characters are brought together and interactwell quickly. That being said the antagonist seems underdeveloped and there just to bring the story to its conclusion. But the ending is nice and satisfactory and makes up for the short comings. Art: 8 The art is pretty. The bodies of characters are all in the correct proportions and look pretty good. However, there are a few spots (particularly in the early chapters) where the eyes of characters seem a little off and do not look like they match their face. Also while the characters are well drawn the background art is not detailed or missing (though this is mostly during sex scenes so you will probably not notice) Characters: 9 The characters play well off of each other in this. Their relationship seems believable and when they interact with each other (not including sex) have a pretty good back an forth. Nishimoto (the studen and our male lead) has a very deadpan attitude and is just trying to make his situation work which is what I feel most high school students try to do, while Morisaki (the teacher, female our lead and eye candy) has a duel personality where she is very serious while teaching and a very lazy professional attitude with Nishimoto. Each personality is good in separate characters but the way she is written allows Moriski. I would have given this section a 10 but I feel that the Vice Principal (our main antagonist) was underdeveloped and not used to his potential, so I brought it down to a 9. Enjoyment: 9 With great characters and writing and very good art I found it very enjoyable. So much so that going back and re-reading it I found I liked it a little bit more. And the sex scenes are not that bad either. Overall: 9 With a 10 in Story. 8 in Art. and 9s in Characters and Enjoyment the Overall Score averages to 9. I highly recommend Kyoushi to Seito to (Teacher and Student) if you are looking for a short story if you got an hour (though probably less) you want to fill with a dirty story. That being said, this is a H-manga and not suitable for anyone under 18.
Kyoushi to Seito to (Teacher and Student) Review: With a rating of 7.76, Teacher and Student is Fuuga's most highly rated work on MAL. The series was serialized in Comic Mujin and ran from Jan 7, 2005 to Sep 7, 2006. Morisaki Mai, a 25 year old teacher gets evicted from her apartment because she wouldn't suck the landlord's willy. Well, that's usually what happens in these type of stories, but it turns out she just wasn't paying rent on time. Often when the start of an erotic manga is this, well, civilized, there's bound to be something abominable down the line. In this case, it wasincest, but let's pretend like that never happened. Mai could have easily moved in with her sister, but the distance was too far away from school, so she decided that the best thing to do was to move in with one of her students, a young man by the name of Nishimoto Daisuke, who just happened to live in a luxurious apartment all by himself; how convenient. Mai and Daisuke eventually fall in love with each other, but neither of them had the courage to express their feelings. One day Mai suddenly decided she wanted to go to the beach. Unfortunately, the water was too cold, so they couldn't go for a swim, but they promised to come back on Mai's next birthday. Daisuke confessed on their way home, but he didn't get the response he was hoping for. He wasn't really bothered by Mai's reaction or lack thereof, just being by her side was enough for him. An unnamed vice principal would eventually get in the way of their relationship, ruining the couple's plan to be together on Mai's birthday. Will they keep their promise or will the vice principal succeed in bringing them apart? That's for me to know and for you to find out. The writing was pretty solid. In fact, I don't think I've ever read an erotic manga with this level of quality. Many authors in this field have attempted to implement humor in their work, but very few succeed. Fuuga didn't succeed in making me fail No Nut November, but this manga was definitely funny. The characters were a lot of fun, especially Mai. Despite not getting any character development whatsoever she was still the driving force of this story. It's rare to find an erotic manga with even one likeable character, this series has several of them and that's an incredible achieve on its own. There are aspects of this series that aren't necessarily exceptional, but everything came together nicely. Have you read this series? No? Then what are you waiting for, the second coming of Christ? For those who have already read the series, feel free to leave your thoughts and opinions in the comments below. Thanks for reading, peace. MAL score: 9/10 Personal score: 4.5/5
