This manga really messed with my brain, not because it was some psychological intellectual life-changing book, but because the idea itself is great but it is executed weirdly. I started reading because I thought the name was interesting, and sexual trauma in BL can go left or right, but this lands in the middle of it. One thing I liked about this story is the art style, Saito's design is so beautiful to me. I've screenshotted almost each page because it's so amazing. The shading was great, the kiss scene was great. And the sex scenes were very erotic and drawn gorgeously. That aloneboosted it for me, I could've looked at them all day (In a perverted and non-perverted way.) Another favor to this manga is that I was never bored. This says a lot because usually mangas take a long time for me to read because I get bored a lot. However I was always eager to get to the next page or read the next chapter of this manga. Saito's list to help Shizuka was genuinely so funny, I will constantly quote it for now on. The comedy is really good, though it's all sex jokes. Nothing outside of that. Other than some funny facial expressions, and please pay attention to Saito's underwear. That's actually hilarious. Although it's a lot I like, it's a lot I REALLY hate. Saito constantly takes advantage of Shizuka. The first instant being when he was drunk, giving his dubious consent, and after he learned of his trauma he continued to beg Shizuka constantly. SAITO NO MEANS NO PLEASE REALIZE THAT MY GUY! It just rubs me the wrong way. And when we get to learn Shizuka's backstory, it seems as if he got groomed into being the way he was, however the story portrays it into comedy and just a "whatever" moment. It should've been taken into better care, although it was a very quick backstory. All of this knocks it down. But overall this manga is just a fun, simple read, it wasn't like what I was expecting but it was your basic BL manga. I love you Saito even though you're weird pervert. You're a cute weird pervert.
Rather than being a treasured memory, losing his virginity to his first boyfriend was traumatizing for Shizuka Hagiwara. As a result, he is still wary of trusting others even after entering college. Despite his standoffishness, Shizuka finds himself dragged against his will into a mixer by the happy-go-lucky Saito, a well-known playboy on campus. Resentful of this turn of events, Shizuka becomes heavily intoxicated, and Saito is forced to escort his classmate when he leaves the party. As Shizuka's condition worsens, Saito takes him to a love hotel conveniently nearby. Being an equal opportunity lover, Saito suggests to Shizuka that they should try sleeping with each other. Although Shizuka consents, albeit unenthusiastically, he warns that he will not enjoy the experience. Rising to the challenge, Saito is determined that he will teach his partner how pleasurable sex can be. Not willing to give up after one night, he devises a five-step training plan guaranteed to help Shizuka overcome his aversion to physical intimacy! [Written by MAL Rewrite]
