Might make you tear up, just might. Light Again is a one shot that you probably randomly stumbled upon while searching through manga pages, and you wouldn't wanna miss this hidden gem. This story is a short singular chapter about a post apocalyptic world where the moon crashed onto a meteorite, and there's now no electricity. Even though I've barely read any manga/watched anime, I can say that this is definitely not that much of an original setting, but it tries to be different, which I applaud. With this, people lived underground and revolted for electricity. With this, a disease coming from people which allows forelectricity to be created, is being experimented on with women. where women, called "Luminas" are now being experimented on. Our main guy, named Mitsumi, meets with a girl called Luna, one of the Luminas. Over time, they chat with each other, and get along, and it's pretty wholesome and nice to see. If you want a sad story, you've come to the right place. I'd definitely recommend this manga for a short yet tear dropping read if that's what you're searching for. This could've honestly been a set up for a masterpiece of a manga, but I won't say I hate what I got.
It was an Earth that had lost its moon to a meteorite collision. In a world enveloped in darkness, people craved light. And at a facility researching the luminescent "Lumia" people, an innocent girl and young researcher meet. (Source: Shueisha, translated)
warning: small spoilers ahead !! Just found out a hidden gem, the story revolves around a "what if" and apocalyptic themes. What makes this very eye catching is the protagonist, Mitsumi and the little girl called Luna have more character depth in a one-shot. Most one-shots lacks how to connect with a reader to a character but it gave a lot of impression. From Mitsumi's backstory to how he have gone through from the past years letting people go being ignorant to standing up on his own. The story is kinda predictable but the whole concept of it is very interesting, I wish this is longerto talk about the on going disease or will they ever find a cure to it?
