Extremely heartfelt with a main couple whose love just flies off the page. One of the sweetest BLs I've read. It shows how aging isn't necessarily bad or something to fear, how it brings with it change, showing the characters' relationship grow and adapt as they get older. While their initial age gap (18 x 28) might be off-putting to some readers, I think it's handled well. Kazuhiko (the younger) is given a lot of autonomy. The couple is presented as very equal, which eschews some of the potential discomfort. The main characters are endearing, I loved Makoto's push and pull with Kazuhiko. How Makoto worriesabout his age and how Kazuhiko completely smooths over those worries. I like that Kazuhiko's choice is important, I like how their sex life continues into old age. I love how it embraces old age and death as a part of life. A wonderful manga if you want to see an age gap couple get together or an elderly gay couple stay together.

Following the life path of two people from different generations—this is a tender life story. Akihiko, an employee in his 50s and Makoto, who's 10 years older than him, are lovers, sons and family. From when we meet as tutor and pupil, things that have changed, and things that are unchanged... (Source: Sankosha, translated)
