A story of two broken souls whose paths cross unexpectedly yet fated to be. Set against the backdrop of classical music, with a focus on the piano, the series expertly captures the characters' emotions and struggles. The artwork is stunning, and even though there is no music depicted in the images, the emotions conveyed are palpable. Each character consists of their own unique motivations and desires. The character development is impressive, and the reader is taken on a journey of moving on from what’s in the past. The series is not afraid to delve into darker themes such as trauma, regret, and guilt, but itdoes so with sensitivity and nuance. No, this is not “Your Lie in April.” This is “Broken Melody”. Give the melancholy-drama manhwa a shot, you won’t be disappointed.
Minhee used to be a world-famous piano prodigy until one mistake sent her life spiraling. Her confidence shaken, her family broken and her life in ruins, all she can do is hope for a chance to make things better. That's when she meets Eun Hyun, the neighborhood piano teacher whose life has been filled with tragedies of his own. The world breaks everyone, it's up to us to pick up the pieces and glue ourselves back together. (Source: Lezhin Comics)
A sad story of a broken man and a girl, whose life was messed with to the point of it genuinely looking like a tragedy in the making, manage to meet and in the long run....... (Go read it if you want to know how it ends. ( •̀ᴗ•́ )و ̑̑ ) I felt sick reading portions of this, not only is there an insane amount of bullying involved there's also moments where I felt like crying just thinking someone could be going through something similar... It's a genuine good read, not for everyone, don't read this if you're going through a bad time in yourlife (read "ooh la la" instead ,hilarious manwha) but if you have a tough stomach, give this a shot, the good moments are great but the bad moments are depressing.
