While this manga certainly isn't bad, it's not a standout either. The art is good, the characters are good, and the story is decent. I like the story and felt that it had some pretty decent ideas there. But I also feel that the ending is thw weakest point. While it does make sense for the ending to be the way it is, it is also very anti-climatic. I'm actually really surprised the manga ended where it did because it felt like the information given in the last two chapters provided an opportunity for new characters and stories to be explored. The other disappointment comesfrom the genre. This manga was listed as a romance, however if you came for romance you will probably be let down. There was certainly a nice build up between the ML and FL, but due to the ending it goes nowhere. I really enjoyed what little time I spent with this manga. I feel it had rhe potential to go further than it did. If you want some light-hearted comedy with low stakes to pass the time then this will be a decent read. But don't get too invested or hope for anything more than what it gives you.
When I pulled out the holy sword, I noticed the handsome prince?! Eleanor, a maid who works at the royal palace, pulls out the holy sword of the legendary goddess, which is given to the hero who protects the country from the demon king, which no one could pull out for a thousand years. However, now is a peaceful era that does not require the success of heroes. If you become a hero, you will lose your job?! I'm going to assume that I didn't gently put the holy sword back, but I was found by a handsome but unfriendly prince... (Source: Square Enix, translated)
