Okay, so Benkyou no Jikan is three short stories. Story: One of the stories is about a girl who asks to be tutored by a guy with long hair, and when brushed out of his face reveals a handsome man, the second about a girl and her childhood friends who just so happen to be twins (one of which is slowly distancing himself from her and his brother), and the third about a girl who was accused of cheating with her best friend's boyfriend and transferred schools due to bullying. She found a new friend who had a crush on her guy friend, and had an internalconflict: Should she or should she not tell her friend the truth about the fact that...--Anyway, the story is my favorite type of manga/anime genre; romance, drama, and slice of life. Art: I liked the art. The eyes weren't too big or sparkly, and the only problem is that the guys looked similar to each other. If I didn't know that the chapter changed, I'd probably think it was the same until reading further into it. Character: I liked the characters. The females were not all the same. One was spunky, one was your ordinary, every-day female, and the other was a shy, reserved girl. The males had similar personalities, except for the first story's male lead, so that deducted a bit. Enjoyment: As I said, I like romantic, dramatic slice of life anime and manga, so this appealed to me. The stories were short and sweet.
When Nao recieves a terrible grade on the latest test, there's only one person to turn to: Andou-kun, the silent boy with his long hair covering his eyes. He gets great grades, and is semi-willing to help Nao out. Turns out that under all that hair, there's a cute boy...! Includes 3 short stories: - Benkyou no Jikan - So, Stand by Me - Green Days (Source: Nagareboshi Manga)
The story's in your typical cliche shoujo environment, school. The story isn't really that original, but cliches are fun to read. Also, for anyone reading the last story, Green Days. If you want extra information on the other girl, Nana, then read Sagashimono. I give the story a pretty fair 8. The art was amazing. I gave it a perfect 10. The characters all looked different, lonesome to the twins that were supposed to look alike. The characters were fun. They ranged from a failure in math to a shy girl who doesn't have too many friends. They were enjoyable and so, giving them a 9. Ienjoyed it thoroughly. I'm quite the romantic, so I was that one girl gushing and laughing along with the characters. I enjoyed it enough to get a complete 10. Overall: 9
The stories were really short and simple...to be honest they were really good but then they were lacking a good ending. They kind of left it up for interpretation what happens next and i feel like that really took away from the stories. Otherwise they were pretty interesting plots ~!
