Holy shit you guys, THIS IS A MASTERPIECE OMG. Tbh, when I started reading this BL I didn't have many expectations. The beginning is very silly and I thought this was going to be a very generic type of BL, with lewdness and a slight touch of cuteness. However, things started to get serious in the 2nd volume and I have to say, I was head over heels for this manga because of how realistic it is. First, the characters. Both have totally different personalities, but they have great chemistry. I was drawn to them every single panel and it was so nice to see theirrelationship grow stronger each chapter. It has a little bit of drama but is nothing over the top, it's just simply worked so well for me. Also, this is the first BL that I read that has a couple made by bisexual men. There's very little real bi/pan representation in BL, so this is a huge deal for me. The art is nothing special or mind-blowing, but I loved how normal both of the main leads are. You see, not every LGBTQ+ man is a super hot, ripped, good-looking guy, usually, they're just ordinary guys and I love how the artist depicted them like this, it gives a more realistic feel to the story. Also, the mature scenes are so passionate, like damn. Overall, I really enjoyed this BL. It's definitely one of my favorites right now.
When comic editor Masumi Shishio is transferred to a BL magazine, he finds himself out of his depth with this new genre, but he isn't about to let that stop him. He reaches out to an artist who's scary good at drawing the D, secures a meeting, and then finds out that the talented "Miss Akiina" is in fact a businessman named Satoru Akiba. The pair decide to make the most of being a two-man team by doing some hands-on research: photoshoots at love hotels to get the poses right, test-runs of kisses and dates to get the feelings right... even a bit of sex, just to safe!! If they want to sell a million copies, they'll have to really put their backs into it! But what if this editor-artist combo's romance simulations turn into something real...? (Source: Houbunsha)
No spoiler review: Story/Character/Enjoyment - 10 Art - 8 Overall - 9 Alright, so I know I'm giving this a super high review but it's only because I was finally taken back a bit by how funny and enjoyable this story was. I didn't expect to be drawn in so well with such a short manga. I genuinely put this on my favorites list for mangas because it's that funny and cute. The art is the only rating I have below 10, and that is only because it is typical art style and nothing out of the ordinary. Quality content. Will probably re-read someday. Cheers!
