This is one of those slow life MMO manga that got popular a while back, but instead of being a crafter or yet another bow user, they're a summoner, which is a nice change to the formula. It's established early on that the game had a reset on full launch from beta, but that summoners aren't played much due to the fact they need to "seal" mobs to summon them, and the sealing process deprives the party of drops. In all honesty considering it seems you really only need 5-10 mob kills for a full seal, and you get drops as normal after that, I'mnot really sure why this is a problem as that many mob kills is not a problem at all, but whatever. The characters are decently written, but very much the sort of stock standard people you'll see in series like this, and given the shortness of the series they can't really flesh anyone out. Even the MC doesn't get fleshed out much, hell considering that the bunny Vorpal is the star of the final volume and we get to see loads of their mental dialogue, you could genuinely argue that the rabbit got more depth than the MC! This manga is very much a cuteness first series, to the point that the very obvious class upgrade for Vorpal is tossed aside to keep him cute, in a move that still confuses me. Each new summon is chosen based on their appearance and fluffiness, and everyone is perpetually gushing over them. With the MC being a guy that looks so much like a girl in game that others keep confusing them for one, and the lack of any masc characters, this very much falls into the "cute girls doing cute things" style of manga, and that includes certain tropes that may or may not be enjoyable to you. Ultimately this series is absolutely an advertisement for the light novels, as so many short series like this are. It's cute, introduces the world and concepts well, but you likely won't remember much about it when you put it down. There's a lot of promise here that doesn't get fully utilised due to the length, and it'll leave you kinda hoping for more but knowing you won't get it.
The world's first action game VRMMO FWO (Fantasy World Online). Our main character chose to become a Summoner. While not so much in particularly willing to go about aggressively capturing monsters or aim to be the strongest player. Just wanting to have an adventure to search for cute monsters and clothes' material. Without noticing in the flow of one situation after another, he becomes the top ranking Summoner.
