Toutoi. 4P Short Stories

A largely disappointing collection. Having read ""Toutosugite Yomenaaaaaaai!!" 4P Short Stories" (I also left a review for that one), I was eager for another set of romance-themed short stories to entertain myself with while waiting in line at the grocery store or just before bed (or when I was procrastinating a more important task). Unfortunately, a majority of the stories are at best low effort, and at worst, barely make any sense. I'll admit that a few pages isn't much time for character development and plot, but that's kind of the whole point of the format: it's a way for budding authors to practice the basicsof storytelling without having to commit to a massive project. Clearly more practice is needed, because some of the conversational banter was so inane and often developed from panel to panel with the grace of a semi-truck so intent on delivering its payload of cuteness that it crashes into the clearance bar. Are these still some good stories in there? Sure, but it's honestly not worth the hour or two of reading to find them; there are plenty of other collections and one-shots out there. 4/10
