I had nothing to do and decided to look for a short manga to read, just to pass the time. That's was when I found "First Love", I liked the synopsis and decided to give it a chance. The story is pretty simple. One day, Haruka got confessed by a guy from her class, Konno, who used to bully her in the past. She thought it was a good opportunity to get her revenge, and she agrees to go out with him just to dump him later. Even though the plot is simple, is well developed for the few pages it has. The author makesvery clear the personality of the characters and creates a fun ambient, where the characters interact naturally with each other and don't seem something forced. It's easy for us to indentify with the main characters and the attitudes she has. The artwork is typical of a shoujo manga, but it have its own merits. The background scenarios are few and normal, while all the are characters well designed. Overall, it's a fun one-shot to pass the time. It's a story about the unexpected first love of a high school girl, and even if isn't something full of twists and turns, is a simple, heartwarming and cute manga.
One day, Haruka got confessed by a guy. That guy is none other than Konno, the one who bullies her around when they were kids, and now he's telling her that he liked her since the first time they met. She thought it was unexpected but after proving that Konno was indeed serious, she decided to agree going out with him... for the purpose of cruely and mercilessly dumping him in the end. But as she spends time with him, the more she can't understand her feelings... A one-shot story from Aruko.
