I gotta say folks, this is quite a bit of an emotional saucy Yaoi I've ever read. You would feel for the character Junwoo who is locking himself up because he had quite a troubling past and the fact he was harming himself, really breaks your heart. It goes to show how much of a trauma can make a big change to anyone for real! However Wooyeon was honestly the perfect person for him who was so patient with him that it melts your heart how much he cared about Junwoo. I wish the world was sympathetic like Wooyeon because the world would ideally bea better place! The art was very good with the emotions that sink into this story! You have to read this 47 chapter manhwa folks, it is very very good!
Junwoo, a hikikomori, passes his days alone, nestled within the darkness of his room that protects him from the outside world. The one strand of light capable of piercing his world is Hanbit, his neighbor and love interest. But when Hanbit leaves to study abroad, Junwoo is forced to take on a roommate to make ends meet. Could this break to his routine be the very thing that Junwoo needs to free himself of his darkness? (Source: Lezhin Comics)
I loved and enjoyed this one! Around chapter 30 it starts to go deep into the backstory. For me, it isn't the common mangwa story (debts, sexual violence, or possessiveness), the plot is different and unique in its way. The first chapters do not provide much information, just some hints about the backstory. It is truly heartwarming, and made me cryπIt breaks your heart and drives you to emphatize with both Junwoo and Wooyeon. Both have sadness in their hearts and minds, and by being together can start their way to healing. Trigger warning: suicide, hikikomori, complex disease. *apologizes for my English! I'm not a nativespeaker.
I would advise you one thing honestly "Don't read the comments about anything that you have already started to watch or read". Seriously gets all the fun to die a quick death. Anyway, I loved this Manhwa. It was emotional but I made it on the other side. It's not my first time reading such genre but it is my first time reading a Manhwa. It was spicy(very much), funny, but most of all full with a person's growth from despair and suffering. And my boys here had it bad. Junwoo and Wooyeon deserve to be happy and together. Do read the trigger warningbefore starting it though.
