Doesn't get any more boring than this. No story at all. It's light fantasy about nothing. You follow around some forgettable characters as they buy bread and talk about dungeons. It's very casual with no chance of anyone getting hurt. It's silly but has no comedy. It has some stock action but there isn't any buildup or suspense at all. There is really nothing clever about his "mapping" skill. In fact, it seems like an after thought from the author. There's a ton of interesting stuff they could have done with mapping, but apparently playing volleyball at the beach is the main priority of thisseries.
It's a spin on a theme we've seen already that doesn't go anywhere before it gets cancelled. The world building is confusing here. They don't explain properly that each person is born with a power but can also learn skills. We don't understand how the dungeons work. Even the MC with his mapping power. The characters might have developed but they barely get started before it's done and what we have isn't that great. I kinda wanted to see why the MC left his friend. The art is serviceable but nothing special. The pacing could have been better, but over time I could have gotten overthat. Skip it.
Note used to dream of becoming a top-tier adventurer, but now he spends his days drinking away his profits at the local tavern and reminiscing about the past. Funny a boy with the Mapping ability could get so lost, huh? That's right. Note's dreams of becoming a big name in adventuring died the day he pulled the infamous trash-tier skill Mapping. Who wants to adventure with someone who has such a worthless ability? Wait... the renowned dungeon-diving party "Arrivers" does? WHAT?! Get your gear packed, because Note has a whole new life to navigate now! (Source: J-Novel Club)
