Synopsis

When the often absent parents of Saneatsu Asada gift him the novel About Her, that is the moment that his love story with Hotaru begins. He becomes completely enamored of the girl with rose-pink hair, red stud earrings, cat eyes, and a beauty spot at the corner of her mouth. Asada unconsciously compares every person that he dates to Hotaru, and his relationship always ends once his lover realizes that they will forever be second-best in his heart. One day, Asada falls asleep in the school library while reading his favorite novel yet again. Upon waking, he is convinced that he is finally meeting Hotaru in the flesh. The alluring figure in front of him looks exactly as described in the pages that he has lovingly memorized.
