Normally I don't review but the only other review on this was pretty inaccurate so I felt the need to add something. This manga is called "Daisy Jealousy." This should imply to most readers that jealousy is a major part of the plot. In this case, Misaki is jealous of Kaname's 3D modeling skills. The whole narrative is centered on Misaki dealing with his feelings of jealousy and the pair slowly, but surely, forming a bond despite these feelings. It's definitely not the most amazing manga I have ever read but it is fine, totally acceptable. I am not sure whatthe other reviewer is saying when they say that Misaki "tries to sabotage" Kaname's work. At one point he deletes a file, but it's for a personal project they were both working on and it is a little unclear what exactly he deleted (very well could have been his own work that he thought was inadequate). There's another time he wants to hang out with Kaname but he is busy and Misaki is upset. I don't think that is sabotage either. Anyway, if you want to read a short BL story that is good but not fantastic, this definitely is one
Misaki has long dreamed of creating his very own video game world, spending his free time working on 3D modeling. When he makes it to technical school, he expects to be the star of the class. However, Kaname, a quiet but handsome loner, always seems to beat him in terms of skill. Despite Misaki's jealousy, the two form a bond and work together throughout their studies. But after some harsh words and an unexpected kiss at graduation, all those years of friendship fall apart. Several years later, Misaki continues to hone his skills at a computer animation company when they suddenly bring Kaname on as a freelancer for a big project. Even though a lot of time has passed, Misaki still harbors the same feelings of jealousy he did when they were students. When Kaname recommends Misaki to perform more significant work on their latest project, Misaki starts to wonder if he had misunderstood their relationship all along. [Written by MAL Rewrite]
I'm glad to have read this and I recommend it to those who struggle with jealousy toward their lovers/friends and feeling like a failure in their studies/job, especially if they work in a passion domain like art. I think this story portrays really well the hardships of feeling deeply jealous with a person you love, how even though you wish to see them succeed you can't stop feeling like you're a failure next to them and that maybe you would like them to fail for you to feel better. Obviously Misaki's behavior is toxic at first but this is why I loved this story. He understoodhis faults and came back better. Overall I think the dynamics between the two characters was really interesting and well handled, one who is so deep in his self-hatred he can't see anything else and one who is too obsessed with the other to understand his behavior. I loved reading this. It probably has something to do with the fact that I relate a lot with Misaki these days.
