So just read the entire story there, I gotta admit there were a lot of twists and turns that make you go wtf atw. Even though it has a dark setting with of course Truck-Kun making a appearance to start the whole thing off, I wasn't really super into the whole thing. Yeah it was addicting to read all 66 chapters ( although it ended in 57 chapters) but yeah I wasn't crazy about it tbh. Maybe Im reading too many manga while being in quarantine atm lol. Art wasn't bad at all and the embrace of Taemin YOON x Siwoon MIN were nice tosee. Yeah I want to add on a final note that Jiwook HAN is the worst sibling in the world. If you want to know why he is, read this manhwa......
All alone, 18-year-old Yoon Taemin has had to fend for himself his whole life and learn how to survive in a cruel world. He tries to shake off an unusually vivid dream of a boy committing suicide and getting hit by a speeding truck. But the dream turns out to be a vision of his fateâas he dies the exact same way. Following the accident, Taemin wakes up in the body of Min Siwoon, a meek and frail teenager who jumped off a building. Although Siwoon is surrounded by wealth and loving parents, it is soon evident that everyone, even his brother, absolutely despises and viciously bullies him since he is unable to stand up for himself. Accepting his new situation, Taemin lives on as Siwoon, protecting himself under the excuse that he lost all his memories. However, his past life quickly catches up with him when he encounters Han Siwonâhis childhood friendâwho is nothing like the weak boy he used to be. Siwon instantly recognizes that it is Taemin in Siwoon's body, and the circumstances that led to their ultimate falling out slowly start to unravel. [Written by MAL Rewrite]
**First Review Story 10/10 This story is about our MC, Taemin, swapping bodies with another character, Siwon, after he dies. It was difficult for him because he did not know anything about this character beforehand. This was a difficult concept to cover because the author clearly does not know from experience how someone would react. However, I found the way she told the story was done very well. The author showed that becoming a different person, completely changing the way you live, and being given many new privileges does not change who you are. Although Taemin was now in a weak body, and was struggling academically, hestill persevered and accepted every opportunity he was not afforded before. The story is very complex so I feel like the way the author switches perspectives is very well done. The author does not continously switch perspectives from Taemin a lot as to not confuse readers, but the author does do so sometimes to give background on events or characters that could not be given with Taemin's perspective. I think overall it was done very well. The author wrote it well enough that the story engaged me to the point where I cried when it was sad, laughed when it was funny, and was happy in happy moments. I really enjoyed it. Art 10/10 This story is a full color Shounen Ai story which had a very standard manwha art style, but I felt like the art style represented the characters personalities well. Taemin, who is a strong character that had to work for everything he had, and went through his entire life struggling, was drawn as a tall character with dark features. Siwon, who was a very soft and vulnerable character, was drawn short with soft features, etc. Overall, I enjoyed the art style very much. Although it was simple, it came to life, distinguishable, and easy to follow. Character 8/10 I really enjoyed Taemin and Siwoon's characters. They are two very complex character's who were represented well. The author included the character's childhoods which helped explain why the character's had toxic traits, and why the did certain things we would consider abnormal. Also, although most of Taemin and Siwoon had dark and strong personalities, the characters were still given quirks that made me fall in love with them like their humor or cute obliviousness. The way the author personalized the characters was well balanced. The supporting cast also added interest to the story by having their own interesting backgrounds, ideas, funny jokes, and quirks. However, I found it slightly confusing when some supporting characters would pop in randomly, make a big impact, then completely disappear. For example, Siwon was tormented which caused him to commit suicide, but when Taemin took over his body, although he was bullied, no one seemed to do anything serious, and people began treating him nice/praising him a few chapters in. It felt slightly rushed, and I did not feel like the relationship between him and the other character's was developed enough. Enjoyment 8/10 I thoroughly enjoyed this serious to the point that I have re-read it three times. I think the art, story line, characters, and overall execution was done nicely. Not only is the concept of a soul swap interesting, but it also included other points of drama and interest instead of focusing only on the soul swap itself. The only reason I did not completely enjoy the story was because I felt like the story had some loose ends which bothered me. It felt like the author left some potential for side stories which were never executed. Overall 9/10
In my opinion. Itâs an okay story. Doesnât really bring something new to the table but you still wonât feel the urge to drop it. Basically, Taemin dies from a car crash, when he wakes up, he finds himself in a different body. Siwonâs body. A bullied kid who mightâve died from suicide after something big happened. Anyway, Taemin goes to school as Siwon and there he meets an old friend of his Woojin. (Man looked like a mom with his hairstyle. Still pretty though) And so the story begins. To be honest. The antagonists were really very magnificently not smart. Their motivations werenât developed enoughfor me to actually think they werenât created later or as an afterthought. Overall this is an okay story that isnât horrible but doesnât stand out either. Not something Iâd go out of my way to recommend but if someone asks me if itâs a worthwhile read Iâd let them read it.
Please be warned, I may drop a spoiler or two below, *wink. One thing I love about this story is the plot. Most, or should I say, ALL of the yaoi Iâve read and watched before donât have any fantasy or supernatural elements to them, so when I found out about the soul transferring thing in this story, THAT totally got my attention. Well, to be honest, I donât think Iâve read or watched any yaoi before that I really really hate. Iâm not usually picky in this genre, so I guess that might be the reason? Wahahaha. If youâre not a fan of this âsoul transferringâthing, I guarantee that thatâs the only supernatural element in this story. Other than that, the rest of the story was narrated in a normal setting and weâre finally seeing the romance, ayeiii! I genuinely love the romance, others might think that it was too fast how the main lead was able to believe that it was him, but considering the number of chapters this webtoon has, I donât feel it was done in a haste. And besides, if you will see the chapter on how much the guy loves the other guy (sorry, I am really bad with names wahahaha), you will think that it was pretty normal. Anyone whoâs that hopelessly in love will believe anything. The art is kind of different for me, but along the way, I find both characters really hot wahahaha. Iâm really so petty so please bear with me, hahaha. I donât think I have something I hate about the illustration though, so I think thatâs the only thing I can say on this one, hehehe, sorry. I know there were some yaoi out there that are very graphic, so I already readied myself before I started this story. But surprisingly, this one is very wholesome (although there were some scenes that I wish to see more, wahahaha, sorry Iâm afraid Iâm getting more perverted everyday hahaha). There were definitely some kissing, but thatâs just that, *wink. As for the characters, I actually like both the main characters. I donât think there were times that I really hated them hahaha. I just adore how the guy, aw heck, this is really confusing not to mention the name hahaha. So let me rephrase, hahaha. I really adore how Han Siwok (thanks google for reminding me the name, hahaha) loves Yoon Taemin, that he will do anything just for him. Most yaoi leads has this overprotective quality in them to the point that itâs suffocating, but in this one, Han Siwok is overprotective, but its not annoying in this story because for a change, the other guy, Yoon Taemin, is a fighter so he knows how to defend himself. As for the side characters, heck, thereâs this 1 character here that I really want to boil alive hahaha. I love twins, but reading this one story makes me rethink why I love twins hahaha. Seeing my reaction above, I think itâs enough to say that the side characters were able to portray their roles well eh? I usually hate stories with these kinds of characters, but surprisingly, I still ended up liking this story as a whole, *wink. I have to mention this at the end because I think this is one of the most important aspects in this story. Aside from the romance, this story has some really dark topics that may be a bit disturbing to some. It involves bullying and rape. So if this is something that youâre not comfortable with, I donât think this story is for you. The story is really good, but I have to retract 1 star because I think thereâs still some few points in this story that should be explained more. One example would be the âsoul transferringâ thing. And also about Han Siwokâs family. I think that one is a good thing to start with if ever the author will make a book 2 for this one. So if you are a yaoi reader and a brave one, you may want to check out At the End of the Road by Haribo. Have fun reading!
