Looking Up You

Kinda mixed on this one! I liked quite a lot of it, was iffy on some others. Overall, I think the series was quite sweet, and I found it to be a good read. Both the male and female MC were likable and had decent chemistry together. The ending was really sweet, and the progression between the main two was genuinely quite moving. My only real complaint, and it did put a decent hamper on my enjoyment, was the character design of the main boy, Yuuki. I love height difference manga, specifically that of a shorter man and taller woman, but here it was reallybizarre. He was a very well written protagonist, but it was a bit hard to fully invest in him due to him looking like an actual child! Compared his mature girlfriend, Chikako, it genuinely looks like you're reading a manga about a teen girls younger brother, or worse, a mother and her son. Really took me out of the experience several times, and if it keeps you away from this series, I totally get it. Overall, quite the short and sweet little series, with some quirks that may turn people off.
