This is a spoiler free review, although there really is not much to spoil with this manga. (before you yell at me yes I am aware that it is supposed to consist of a bunch of mini stories) To be honest when I first saw this manga pop up while looking for yuri manga, I clicked on it because of the fantastic art. I cannot begin to describe how much I love the art style of this manga, and it is a shame because the plot is... basically non-existent. Each chapter of Kimi ni Suki tte Iwasetai (I Want You to Say You Love Me) consistsof different characters. The first two chapters are about a couple who started dating a year ago, and are working out the kinks in their relationship. Although, when I read the 3rd chapter both characters seemed to be absent from the plot, and the story completely changes to a girl who lives alone and her cat turns into a lolicon... why... The main problem I have with this manga is that it is about as consistent as the weather, and it could have had so much potential. I wish it was an actual story and not a collection of short yuri stories when they could have had to much done with these concepts. This first two chapters were absolutely great, but the writer decided to scrap a great idea and change the story 4 more times. I really liked the characters in the first two chapters, and I even liked the characters in the 3rd chapter, but after that I lost all interest. If you like yuri, just read it because it will pass some time, but if you want an actual plot...please I beg do not waste your time with such a disappointing manga. The only thing saving this is the art.
