Daughter of the Emperor

The only way to read and enjoy this fully, is to just be non-critical and be bored enough. If you DO want to read this, maybe out of sympathy for the author or for the sake of art... either way you're a good soul. Keep in mind, only focus on the main character. Reincarnated adult into a baby? Throw out that deep thought. Since, the manhwa narrative focus is character driven. I will review in that aspect. The pros: 1. The dynamic between father and daughter is refreshing and rewarding, definitely better than "Who made me a princess" but still less recommended than the latter. 2.A lot of enjoyable bantering 3. The protagonist IS NOW an actual child. 4. The knight+emperor's character progression is worthwhile. The cons: 1. There are plenty of times where Ari is unbearable. 2. Art is a bit stiff. Especially the perspective. It has some nostalgic charm tho, perhaps it's the coloring. 3. Cliche almost background romance 4. Plot armour..there is some moments with low risk. 5. Long read, slow burn. 6. Unnecessary characters screen time. Honestly, i normally would have scored it lower than 5/average, seeing how many flaws i listed. However, i still remember most of it's main content after years. For someone who value memorabilty/iconic. I could forgive every technicality fault. Even if it's not within my preferences. Hence i gave it 6 (fine). The ending is shit tho, ngl. Re-reading it, I'm being unusually nice. Maybe it's a good day, idk myself. -_-
