A great experience, I arrived expecting a work of the Yuri genre with hints of eroticism and I ended up taking a compelling story. The foundations are built thanks to our characters and above all a leading couple that with each interaction shine like gold together with a unique volume that knows how to propose different ideas that it manages to carry out with an impeccable execution by the author rising as an exponent of his own gender. The plot is woven together for 240 pages where the mysteries are posed to be satisfactorily solved with a huge message. This story touches on many interestingmessages and topics, such as discrimination and class differences or even the abuse of power using its protagonists together with this fantasy world as a vehicle to get excited about their reading, my best advice is to read Yurihime and be happy with a short but beautiful story about love.
As long as we’re together, we’ll be happy. So begins a yuri adventure! Rem, an elven girl who had fled her home, arrived at a human town, where she met a cursed princess, Alferez. Sympathizing with the other’s circumstances, the two women embark on a journey to break the curse! In their dangerous and obscene adventure, they learn more about the true nature of the curse, and about their own secrets… (Source: Novel Updates)
It has a good compelling story, has multiple elements within the story tie back together with the characters. The world building gets fleshed out a little bit like with the fact Elves use wind spirits for their great mobility. Both of the characters play off of each other quite well with their personalities. The pacing does drag from time to time but nothing bad. The conflict and drama was great; the twist and turns in the story had me not being able to predict where it was going. No heavy exposition dumps, no, "oh hey I'm going to sit here and explain this" and some thingsare left unanswered in a good way with the fact not every little thing needs to be explained. The two sides of the race conflict make sense for mutual hatred. The writing could've been better at having the character's express their emotions but nothing that's going to ruin the story. Both characters being the same side of the coin, the theme with love which I don't want to dig too much into that for spoiler reasons. The NSFW elements of the story I do love even if some events are repeated a little just a different place. It takes some time before you run across the NSFW stuff. Ass play, oral, fingering, etc. On the part of the humans and the elves the conflicting emotional drama part of the story does have you sympathizing and understanding both sides but still not agreeing with their mindset nor their methods. The relationships between the characters (more fleshed out with the elves) is more understood with their complex mess of emotions while the humans don't get much time to focus on their mindset, reasoning and hatred versus the elves. The action and drama were great with relatable reasons for the characters to want to chase after their motives. Even with the epilogue the two together chasing a new goal. The art is great within the story, the times you actually get to see it is great and is quite fitting.
