This is going to be a short review, but a review nonetheless. If you're looking for a review pointing out the negative aspects of a manga, this isn't one of those. I really enjoyed reading this. Story: 8/10 Story is simple, which is more suitable for a short manga like this. Dialogue was a bit unrealistic, though it's unique. The complication was solved rather fast, but it seemed like it Koga was close to getting over the goldfish anyway. Art: 9/10 I really liked the art of this manga. Unlike other shounen ai, the character designs aren't too masculine or feminine. The characters look their age which I reallylike. Character: 7/10 There wasn't much time to show off the personalities of the MCs, but the way the mangaka did it wasn't bad at all. I liked how Koga dealt with his pain instead of adding unnecessary drama to it. Enjoyment: 10/10 I love shounen ai stories like this. The relationship was cute and innocent but curious at the same time. For me, it was nice to see a change from manga talking about anal sex all the time. I have nothing against that but it can get pretty tedious. Overall: 9/10 Cute, I recommend it if you have time to spare.
Surprised to see the calm and collected Yuuya Koga crying, high school student Souta Tajima accidentally drops a bucket of water on him. Concerned, Tajima apologizes to Koga, who reveals he is crying over the death of his special goldfishβthe one he got from the person he likes. He claims that a fat white cat with black patches killed his pet, which fits the description of Tajima's cat, though Tajima feigns ignorance. Koga sees through Tajima's lie but sees it as an opportunity to reveal a shocking secret of his own. Tajima gradually becomes an irreplaceable figure in his life as Koga begins to rely on him for emotional support and the boys grow ever closer. [Written by MAL Rewrite]
Story: A boy in love with his brother. A one sided love. A cat that acts as a cupid between the two MC's. Add to that a back story of sadness, and a future wedding. All of these happenings are found in this manga. It seems like a lot, but it is put together well in just 5 short chapters. Art: It is airy and light. Add to that, a bit of koi/goldfish whimsically mixed in, and it is really well done. If I had to choose which category I liked this manga for the most, it would be the art. Characters: Down to earth attitudesand a gentle take on boys in their pubescent stage. The MCs are opposites of each other, but seem to mesh together well somehow. I enjoyed the easy going style. But, also the deep feelings that are sometimes conveyed in this manga. (Why are guys attracted to tears??) If you want a short, fluffy-sweet kind of manga this is a good place to be looking.
