A charming and educational autobiography. Story: This chronicles the couple's journey towards motherhood in mostly chronological order. The story is cute and at times heartbreaking as it portrays the real life struggles Japanese queers face when trying to start a family. It's also surprisingly funny, which is nice given the at times sad subject matter. Art: Characters are engagingly drawn with emotion and subtlety throughout. Backgrounds are fairly present with somewhat average paneling. It's all pretty decent stuff and compliments the story well. It was interesting learning about more specific aspects of Japanese queer life than you would in some fictional manga or whatever. I'd say if thisa go if you're even a little bit interested in the subject matter.
Koyuki Higashi and Hiroko Masahara's story of their decision to have a baby together, as a lesbian married couple. They previously chronicled their romance and wedding in Lesbian-teki Kekkon Seikatsu.
