Chiaki and Kazuma have been dating for 8 years, and have been friends since children. Chiaki is sort of trying to deepen their relationship (while Kazuma is a bit more cagey and doesn't want to feel tied down), when their friend Tomoe contact them. She is pregnant! And when the child is born, she has to leave to the USA and ask them to take care of her baby. The manga is a complete 1 volume, where Chiaki and Kazuma take care of their daughter (I think she ends up being around 7 years old by the end of the manga) and their new family alsostrengthen their relationship. No warnings needed for this one (a part from mentions of homophobia), this volume is just pure adorableness and fluff. There is some minor angst, mostly related to the difficulties of adapting to a new situation (a time consuming baby), but Chiaki and Kazuma are a healthy couple and they support each others through thick and thin! Each chapter ends up being a window into their life, with some year apart, so the reader can see the evolving of their relationship with their adopted daughter. And all good things happen!
Chiaki and Kazuma are two men who began a gay relationship in high school and have kept their romance alive going into their adult lives. Amidst slow-moving discussions about how to take their relationship to the next level, the pair are suddenly contacted by their childhood friend Tomoe. Their reunion is quite the shock, seeing as Tomoe is pregnant and has no idea who fathered her child. Familiar with Tomoe's free-spirited nature, Chiaki and Kazuma agree to support her throughout her pregnancy. When her baby is finally born, they are overjoyed to see their whimsical friend behaving responsibly as a mother. However, their relief is short-lived since, one day, Tomoe shows up at their door carrying her daughter and making an unconventional request—she wants the two of them to foster her child. With Tomoe heading overseas, the adorable baby Ayumi is left in the care of Chiaki and Kazuma. As the two learn to grow into their new role as parents, they are tested to their very limits and must support each other like never before. [Written by MAL Rewrite]
