Nine Puzzle. Review. By NnelL. The story was great. It makes you suspense many things about what would happen next especially when your imagination is wide. But it lacks the romance i wanted. I was like 'What?! that's all?!'... But it was really cute. It made me wanted to play billiards too so maybe I'll meet someone like him. just kiddin'. But really, It made me realize that billiards are not only for bad guys. Oh, and the art was outstanding since the characters are sooooo cute! and COOL. Especially the covering, the girl was pretty. I enjoyed it but i kinda felt it was tooshort. Although i don't like too ling stories. Overall it's 9. Since the 'romance' thing. I extremely recommend these to everyone since it's for everyone... hehehe....
Mika is a regular girl who just goes day to day without any concrete dreams for her future. Until one day, when she sees her classmate Kaede playing pool in a billiards lounge. Kaede is a boy who hides many secrets...whose personality seems to change when he plays billiards. Entranced by the smile Kaede wears when he plays, Mika soon finds herself immersed in the game...! (Source: ShoujoMagic) Included one-shots: Volume 1: Platinum Volume 2: Ichigo Namida; Wakasama no Jijou
i read this manga before i even knew about this site. however it is manga i have never forgotten. i read it years ago so i was still a bit of a novice, however i really enjoyed reading it at the time, i was fasinated. i don't think this manga suits everyone but i would reccomend it. it is short and easy to read. the humor in the story was great. most of the humor dirived from the two main characters. i would explain them as two best friends who have known each other all their lives but they continusly fight. my overall rating for this was8 though it was very nearly a 10. this is simply because of the ending. the ending unlike the rest of the manga was rubbish. it just semmed to of finished in the middle. their wasn't a conclusion, their wasn't anything to even indicate the end in the story. the ending is very dissapointing and my friend who i had gotten to read it as well also agreed. i remmember saying "that can't be the end" this was what ruiend the manga and decreased it's score. overall all i would reccomend it to beginners and anyone who is bored and looking for something to do.
For such a short story, it really was an enjoyable oneβnot only plot-wise, with billiards and a bit of romance, but also character-wise. In just a few chapters, the author managed to get me attached to the main pair and the shop owner, and I enjoyed every second of their interactions, despite them being your usual shoujo characters (an airhead girl with no romantic experience and a mysterious boy with some sort of family or social issues). The romance was definitely underwhelming, but it was just enough to feel a bit satisfied with it by the end. What had more focus was billiards, which, as afan of the game, I thoroughly enjoyed. The ending, as other reviewers said, was very rushed and underwhelming. Heck, I didn't even know it had ended until I realized every chapter afterward was an individual, unrelated one-shot. I definitely believe the story could have been a few more volumes longer, but instead, I had to make my own headcanon of what happened after the end. Going back to those unrelated one-shots, there were three of them, and despite having no connection to the main plot (I really don't know why they were included with the manga and not as actual standalone one-shot stories), they were pretty fun to read. Each was 50 pages max, so obviously, they couldn't tell much, but they still managed to make my reading experience satisfying. Overall, I liked the manga and will definitely keep it in my memory. However, due to its length and usual shoujo plot format, I don't believe it's for everyone, which is why I chose "mixed feelings" instead of "recommended." However, for all of you shoujo fans, this one is definitely a nice, quick read.
well. to tell u the truth i didnt really like the story.. the genre is suppose to be Romance but to be honest there was barly any romance in it.
