I'll start with this, this manga isnt for everyone. And this form of art is what is called a "manga", and its a fictional work. Its really important to understand this. If "weird" things arent your cup of tea and you think (I am not judging, mind you) eroticism in manga is creepy, and the ecchi is just vulgar fanservice I dont recommend this work. This work is *meant to be* freaky and twisted. I dare say its not a flaw, but something thats adds such a unique beauty. Ive seen criticism in this mangakas other works, specifically about people thinking that its "weird"(it *is* compared to most other works, but I think its more of a case of the other mangas being too normal rather than this one being weird) and therefore deserves a bad rating but I think its like saying Oyasumi punpun is shit because its depressing or saying Naruto is trash because its unrealistic Ill start once thats out of the way. Kazuto Okada is my favorite mangaka. Female-led type of relationship and femdom in general is really rare to see in mangas and Kazuto Odaka has the best depiction of it I have ever seen. All, except maybe few of sexual acts in this manga arent a simple weird, fetishistic act born from lust; but theyre a twisted, messed up way of bonding, connecting with the other person. The tiny, hard to notice details are one of the reasons why this manga is the masterpiece it is. Just like the mangakas other work, namely Ibitsu (which I will admit that I like that much) and Sundome (a masterpiece just like Pansuto) mangaka is as exceptional as always with the impending doom and the gloomy vibes. After every single chapter I was left wondering what would happen next and kept going on and on, to the point before I even noticed I read all of the chapters that were translated. Eroticism is a form of art, and Kazuto Okada is the the artist that perfectly encapsulates what I want and even going a point beyond that. I realized what I *needed* after rereading some of the chapters. It was a life-changing experience. A prevalent theme (and perhaps one of the reason this seperates this manga from simple eromangas) in the relationship this manga has is the intimate gestures. The characters generally dont just get right into it, there is a thrill and tease in it, but you need to look a little into it. Once you notice the genuine love and admiration in Daichis word and the Senseis change of attitude following that you realize that these arent born from mere lust. Its all over this manga, the absolute obedience and affection Aiba has for the Sensei and her folding and doing stupid things every time, even when its actively hurting her. Its beautiful. Its an incredible depiction of what one might call as "toxic" and "abusive" relationship, and the author emphasizes these themes. One of the many other things that this work does incredible job with is the side characters. A lot of times the author uses the side characters to explore the main characters pysche, the protagonists subconscious desires that he hasnt realized himself can be seen in simple lines (and I believe Sensei also caught those) and his lack of character development is another thing thats not a flaw but a feature. The author is well aware of this and recognizes it. I think he knows very well how to add character development (as seen in Sundome), but just chooses not to. I would love to talk about this manga for some more and go over the spoilers but I want more people to see this review and maybe give it a chance. Possibly see the vision in Kazuto Okadas work. I thought I had a lot to talk about this manga, Ill probably edit it when I reread this again. Anyway, this mangakas work are known for a certain type of ending. I despised Ibitsus endings but absolutely loved Sundomes. In my opinion the ending of Pansuto is also incredibly beautiful. Since this is an eromanga you are probably wondering about the art and how good it is with the job its intended. To that, my friend, I will simply say that my little guy and I were watching with great interest and shed a tear together multiple times. The artwork is very erotic and unique. It can be considered unconventional though.
The school nurse feared by everyone, with her white underwear peeking out of her black tights. And then she caught me peeping... Thus began the s.e.c.r.e.t afterschool counseling (Source: Akita Shoten, translated)
Warning: This manga is extremely perverted. And I'm not talking silly fanservice. They go balls deep into the whole thing. It also has student-teacher relationship. If any of this makes you uncomfortable, this is not for you. Pandora x Strip is an ecchi romance comedy with a simple premise. Two characters with similar interests fall for each other. The interest being perversion. Both of them are constantly horny. And from my rating, you can tell that I'm also a huge perv- Ok seriously, boobs and asses can only carry a story so far. What makes PanSuto stand out from other ecchi manga is that it actually haslayered characters. Daichi, Kaguya sensei, and Akari are our main characters. Daichi has Phimosis and so Kaguya (the school nurse) decides to help him in not so conventional ways. While Kaguya acts as the main piller of Daichi's school life, Akari acts as a supporting piller of his home life. Kaguya is an interesting character. Because most ecchi manga portray horny characters as gyarus or straight-up sluts, Kaguya is more... Real. She is not a good person by any means. Some of the shit she does, she would be in jail if got caught. But as the story progresses, we slowly see this side of hers beyond the horny teacher. She is filled with loneliness, regret, guilt, and self-hatred. Akari is a childhood friend of Daichi who has feelings for him. She grounds the story in a more "wholesome" way. Her growing relationship with Daichi is fun to read. While on one hand it's horny af, on the other hand it's a story about two characters who rely on each other and get closer in the process, while also confronting their own flaws. The comedy is a hit or miss. Sometimes it's genuinely funny, sometimes it falls flat. Overall, a good ecchi manga with great characters.
